Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"We are finally back into the swing of things and back to reality (which is utterly depressing) and am getting round to thanking everyone for making our day absolutely amazing, including yourselves!! We had so many compliments about how good you were and I'm so happy the dance floor was packed from start to finish. Which of course I knew it would be as they follow lead from me! Haha. Slight party animal. The extra songs you learned we amazing and went down fantastically well!! You should definitely add them to your repertoire. They were my favourite of the whole night. And is was great to see you guys enjoying yourselves too as there's nothing worse than seeing bands disinterested in their sets! In all a massive success!! Will definitely recommend you to family and friends though you sold yourselves brilliantly on the night so no need!! I'll se sure to email any photos that you feature in so you can use as you wish. I'm sure they'll be plenty of the packed dance floor!! Please pass our thanks onto the rest of the band and of course the djs who stayed until the very end delivering the quality tunes!! "Everybody at the our 50th celebration loved them. Most people got up to dance. The age range was from 12 to 78. Their repertoire was varied. A live band wins over a disco any day, it might cost more but it's a concert, a performance. A party at which everybody was won over to Soul music"

"Uptown Groove were brilliant, very fun and friendly, but well organised and professional too, they got set up with a minimum of fuss and their performance was a blast, one of the highlights of our special day. I would definitely recommend them."

"Licksquid were our first choice for our wedding reception and a brilliant choice right from the start. Dan and the boys were friendly and professional and tailored the set to our requirements. These boys aren't afraid of a challenge - we had a very particular request for our first dance involving the start being played acoustically then the band joining in later on - Lick Squid accepted the challenge and pulled it off brilliantly! They even traveled from Derbyshire to the Lake District for our wedding - if that isn't commitment then I don't know what is! Suited and booted the band played two long sets with the dance floor filled throughout to classic rock, pop and a mixture of other genres. Everyone was catered for young and old. Every single guest at our wedding was seen on the dance floor at some point which was a massive deal. We highly recommend Licksquid, they made our special day even more special and were so easy to deal with - a blessing during wedding planning!"

"The Goodfellows recently played at our customer event in Shelsley Walsh and were a great new addition to the event. Playing over the lunchtime period, they provided entertainment to our customers who gave nothing but excellent feedback on their performance. We are really looking forward to seeing them at our next event in August. I would definitely recommend them and will look to use them for any future events :)"

"Matt and the band were excellent. Great communication, timekeeping, friendly disposition and helpful with requests and suggestions. Musically they were fantastic. Lots of guests commented that they liked the music and the band judged the mood really well. I will definitely book them again!"

"We booked The Players after seeing them at our friend's wedding last year. Really lovely people, great musicians, great voice! All the guests thoroughly enjoyed the band. Good mix of music for all ages but without all the typical cheesy wedding songs (which was a must for us!) They did a fantastic version of 'just like heaven' by The Cure for our first dance - we loved it! Thanks for helping to make our day so special x"

"We were absolutely delighted to welcome Shoreline Sounds to our 15 year anniversary celebration. Their performance was fantastic and full of energy. The residents, relatives and guests were thoroughly engaged and loved the music, which helped make the event. Their vocals were excellent, and they delivered a varied repertoire that kept everyone entertained. While the volume was initially a bit high for our space, the group responded quickly and graciously to our request to turn it down, which was much appreciated. Overall, Shoreline Sounds were a highlight of our celebration, and we would gladly welcome them back. Highly recommended for any event looking to add fun and great music!"

"Good afternoon, I would like to communicate with you my positive feedback for our choir SMSC activities. The members of the choir were motivating and engaging. They worked effectively with our students and were themselves very organised throughout all sessions in the day. I have had the opportunity to work with numerous groups and organisations over that last 8 years and I can honestly say that the Dream Gospel Choir are the best to date. The message of tolerance, kindness, understanding, positivity and sharing good news was an integral and explicitly clear part of every session that the students experienced today. The students involved left with their heads held high and smiles on their faces. I was surprised and very proud of the level of participation and self confidence that they were able to display today. I have had a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding day and even exercised my own vocals!"
