"These guys were AMAZING!!! We had them for our wedding and had so many comments on how fantastic they were at getting the party going, engaging with guests & playing the perfect songs to keep people on the dance floor. Some of our guests have since been in touch with Overdrive to try and book them for their own parties. Couldn't have wished for a better group to entertain us & our guests! Thanks so much!!!!"

"I can't speak highly enough of these guys. They played our wedding day with both an acoustic day set and a very lively evening set. Their playlist was excellent, with a very varied choice of music, all of which fit the atmosphere of the day perfectly. We had requested a specific first dance, which the band had offered to learn from scratch and it turned out to be perfect. Throughout the day just about everyone one of our guests had approached either my wife or I to enquire as to where these guys had come from - even more so in the evening when the drinks were flowing and the dance floor was overflowing!! All I can really say is that if you are considering booking The Johnhouse Duo for any occasion and are slightly undecided at this point, I can honestly say you will not be disappointed. Awesome Band"

"Amazing band, communication was excellent from first point of contact, very professional, great advice, loved by everyone at our wedding from our 3 year old son to my 82 year old uncle! Received many compliments about the band from the musicians in our family too. Highly recommended."

The music was fantastic, and I felt the calling gave us just the right amount of detail without holding back those who were itching to get on with the dancing. "Dermot’s music was one of the highlights of our wedding day. Having moved our wedding from Ireland to the UK due to Covid, we really wanted to capture the emotion and essence of an Irish wedding, and the music and drinks reception were perfect! During our walk down the aisle there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Beforehand Dermot organised zoom rehearsal with my sister in law so she could sing alongside him confidently during the ceremony and I know she was extremely grateful. The impromptu singalong during the drinks reception was a highlight for so many of us (and staff at the venue!). Dermot was professional, courteous, flexible and my only regret was that we had to leave the drinks reception to for the wedding breakfast! We are so grateful to him and could not recommend him enough."

"The Cheers were absolutely flawless from start to finish. They played for our wedding in September and were the perfect choice. We loved that we had some control in picking the songs, they were so friendly and professional throughout booking etc and the performance just blew us away!! Incredible sound. We've been to a few weddings this year and this band blew the other function bands we'd seen out of the water. Thank you so much!!"
