"They were fantastic from start to finish and suited our wedding to a tee. Guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music, and the fun that was had on the dance-floor was due in large part, to the fantastic effort put in by the guys. Even my wife's 86 year old grandmother was up, dancing to Guns and Roses' Sweet Child of Mine. Songs to suit all tastes, and an energy and professionalism that would be hard to top. Thanks boys, for making it a truly memorable day!"

"I was lucky enough to catch these guys at a public gig, as soon as I heard and saw the energy that went in to their sets, I knew this was the band for mine and my wife's joint 40th. From the first enquiry these guys were obliging and easy to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. The party was great fun, aided by Acquiesce, their sets on the night were great, full of energy and they had everyone up dancing. Following the party we have received loads of great reviews none more so than my wife who, hadn't heard Acquiesce prior to the party! We would like to say a big thank you for making our party and hopefully you are still rocking for my 50th bacause you are booked!"

"We booked Shakers Gold for our corporate event following a recommendation and they were amazing – not only the music, which got the party started, but also a couple of sessions of Bandeoke, which was great fun. The addition of a Photo Booth just ticked all of the boxes and our evening was complete – a huge success. A huge thank you to Shakers Gold!"

"First of all can I just say Sam and I were overwhelmed with how amazing you guys were at our wedding. We knew you'd be good but you exceeded our expectations and our guests are still talking about how amazing you were. As a nervous bride and groom you completely put us at ease throughout the whole process. From learning our first dance song, to calling us a few days before the wedding to run through the final details, you made the whole experience an absolute delight. Your repertoire of songs on the night was perfect and we have such fantastic memories of dancing the night away! "The Covered played at our Ladies Night last weekend, they were absolutely fantastic, we had the 6 piece set up and each and every member of the band was amazing. They played all of the dance floor classics we could have asked for and when we asked for something not in their planned line up they added it on and played it flawlessly. We can’t recommend them highly enough. All of our guests commented on the great band choice and after looking over so many options we were so pleased to have made the right choice. Sarah the lead singer was amazing, she joined us on the dance floor and sang her heart out at the same time. What a voice! We can’t thank you guys enough, you had the dance floor full from start to finish, even having to compete with the mock casino you managed to keep the dance floor full! John was great in terms of responding to all of our queries, adapting the line up to suit us and meeting all of our requirements. Thank you again, we’d definitely rehire for another event!"

"We hired the Edinburgh Ceilidh Trio for our wedding and they were fantastic, we had 3 hours of playing and I don't think the dance floor was empty once. They were great at explaining the dances to the guests, allowing them to quickly learn the dances and have a go. Many of the guests - most of which had never done a ceilidh before - all reported how much fun they had. "
