"Having a string quartet at our wedding was also a must for us, but finding one that had the quality of sound that I wanted was not easy. I listened to many different quartets but were struggling to find one that had the rich tone in their playing that I was looking for. Until I came across The South Down Strings. I knew very quickly that they’d be the quartet for us! We had a call with Sheraine who was lovely and really got to know us and our musical tastes. In my mind the most important piece of music during a wedding is the piece played for the ‘walk down the aisle”, and for us this was always going to be the unconventional, The Book of Love by Peter Gabriel. Sheraine and the South Down Strings specially wrote an arrangement of this piece for us, a beautifully arranged piece combined with their perfect playing really elevated the whole ceremony. The performance during the drink’s reception was of the same high standard and many of our guests were captivated by their wonderful playing. I can not recommend Sheraine and The South Down Strings highly enough, I’m already looking for an excuse to hold an event where we can hire them again!"

"I had always wished for String Quartet at my wedding and the Element String Quartet were fantastic! Wonderful playing of pieces chosen from their extensive repertoire. Also arranged a few pieces from The Pirates of Penzance for our piratical themed wedding which were fantastic! Wonderful to have as part of our reception whilst everyone was eating! Thank you very much to the Element String Quartet - you helped make my dreams come true! 🎻😃❤️"

"The Romanza string quartet played for our wedding and were absolutely superb. Helen was wonderful at communicating with me prior to the event via email. They had an extensive repertoire and we chose classical music for the ceremony and pop afterwards. They made the day feel so special - thank you so much!"

"The Nouveau Duo were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish and provided the perfect musical accompaniment to our daughter's wedding. From the outset, Gareth was both professional and personable in all correspondence regarding the musical arrangements. And while the Nouveau Duo's impressively extensive repertoire of hymns, film music, rock, pop and classical pieces far exceeded what anyone could reasonably require for a wedding service and drinks reception, Gareth even went so far as to expertly craft an original arrangement of a particular favourite song at the couple's request. The musical talents of both Gareth and Nataliia were abundantly clear, their effortlessly exquisite playing fully displaying their mastery of their respective instruments and blending beautifully to charm and entertain our wedding guests of all ages. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone planning a wedding or event and have every confidence that you will be delighted to have the Nouveau Duo's music enhance your special day - we certainly were! "From start to finish Artume Quartet have been an absolute joy to work with. I first saw them during an online wedding fair and knew immediately that I had to have them at our wedding. Communication with them has always been fantastic and they even took our request for the Formula 1 theme tune for us to walk back down the aisle too. Their repertoire is insane, so many brilliant songs to choose from and they are so incredibly talented! Our guests absolutely raved about them, and still do, and my only regret on the day is that I wish we had waited a bit longer to go out and do our photos so we could have heard these amazing ladies play some more. You will not regret booking and I will recommend them to anyone who will listen. Thank you Artume Quartet xx"
