"Thank you so much for coming to play with 'Sounds Interesting' for our 'Sotto il maestro' concert in Ludlow on Saturday. You did a wonderful job in very uncomfortable conditions and I really appreciated your professionalism, skill and goodwill. I particularly enjoyed the spirited accompaniment of the Schubert Mass which really captured the joyful character of this work. Joan Palmer was moved to tears by the performance of 'Upon Clee Hill' so thank you for making her 80th birthday a special occasion. "Thank you immensely for the absolutely superb performance at Ratho Parish Church. The success of a wedding relies so much on background music and Scotland Strings certainly excelled in that regard. Personally, Gill and I missed out somewhat as our arrival, by dint of normal bride and father custom and practice, occurred in the late stages of your performance. However, our guests spoke very highly indeed of your presence and delivery and raved of how the quality enhanced a momentous occasion. Morag, once again, many thanks for helping to make Gill and Jamie’s wedding such a huge success. Best wishes for the continuing success of Scotland Strings and the enjoyment that goes with it."

"We had the Ebor Quartet play at our wedding on Saturday and I honestly couldn’t have been any happier!! Conor was brilliant in terms of communication in the lead up and they created the ambience I had hoped for (and more) - it was beautiful! They played such a variety of music and made the welcome drinks time simply perfect! Thank you!! Really recommend and happy to be a reference if ever needed. X"

"Dear Sue Thank you and your group Scherzando for playing at my son's wedding. It was a wonderful day, in a wonderful setting, at Lilleshall Hall in the Duke of Sutherland suite and the music was perfect. As you know, my new daughter-in-law is Brazilian and her family were quite blown away by the whole day, so very different from how a wedding is conducted in Brazil and the beautiful music that you provided, quite stunned them, and added a very 'English' touch. We were particularly grateful for the 'extra' pieces you filled in with, when the bride was fashionably, if a little alarmingly 'late'. Also the wonderful care you took in talking over their choices and advising them on what would work best, at what point in the ceremony. If anybody is seeking to add that little something extra to their Wedding day, then I would certainly recommend that they engage you to play."

"Helped add a real touch of class to our party! Loved hearing my favourite pop tunes such as Simon and Garfunkel in this string setting. They were very flexible in their organisation prior to the party, and were able to set up comfortably in our living room. The playing itself exceeded my expectations - beautiful! "

"I was struggling to find a string quartet for our wedding in Oxfordshire that were in budget and played the style of music that we wanted. I was relieved when Liz from the 440 Quartet got back to me to say they were available and were happy to travel from Birmingham to Oxfordshire to play at our wedding. Liz went above and beyond to help us get our playlist just right learning new songs that they didn’t have in their repertoire. They played every song to perfection on the day and everyone really enjoyed listening to them throughout the ceremony and drinks reception. The mix of songs they played around our playlist worked perfectly. Thank you Liz for being so helpful and accommodating, we really appreciate it as it took so much stress out of the process for us. I cannot recommend The 440 String Quartet highly enough for any wedding or event. "
