"To say The Element exceeded our expectations is an understatement! From the communication beforehand in helping to decide what music to play to their punctuality on the day and how wonderful the music sounded I would not hesitate to recommend the Element to anyone looking for a string quartet for their wedding. "Really pleased with Bowfiddle Strings. They played at my party as guests arrived and managed a modern twist to my eclectic taste in music. Dealt with Laura, who organised it all for me. Made suggestions that were great, as I had no idea really idea to begin with. Would use again and have already been to a concert that they have played at. The quality of playing was / is splendiferous, and we had many complimentary comments made about Bowfiddle Strings at the party."

"What can I say! The Element String Trio was absolutely amazing, such a wonderful sound and perfect for my wedding in June this year. Caroline and her fellow musicians apart from being extremely talented with their flawless repertoire were also lovely people. I can't recommend them highly enough. Fab Fab fab. Thank you so much."

"These guys were absolutely amazing. Slightly last minute planning on our part turned out better than expected when we asked if they had availablity. Molly was incredibly accomodating and made wonderful things happen. The fact they have a list of all the songs they play available for us to pick, unlike any other musicians we found, made the process so easy. They sounded fantastic, all were very friendly and polite. Highly recommend"

"I tried something new with the edit as the lighting was very difficult to work with. I love the first one of you playing ? Then same edit on the one with you all together. "Rachel played the cello on my debut album initially following existing arrangements forwarded to her only a few hours before and adding her own. This project required a professional who could pick things up quite quickly and make changes when and as required, improvising in effect. Rachel did this and more, understanding the essence of the music and beautifully blending her own touches into the style (folk fusion)."

"I first encountered The Tuning Forks fairly recently, at a 200 capacity independent venue in the Strathbungo area of Glasgow. I was there as House Audio Tech and it was one of those nights where before the soundcheck had even commenced, I had a sense that something pretty special was about to happen. The individual tones they delivered during soundcheck were staggeringly rich and I knew that once the faders were at unity and the ensemble played as a unit that my initial instinct had to be correct. I was NOT prepared for the emotive, playful and dare I say, danceable set which we were treated to. Like an organism made of limbs that mostly supported each other without obstruction, ego or flashiness, but with occasional forays into wild and feral territories; always as a unit and simultaneously bubbling like a pot on the stage with sudden bursts of joyous phrase manipulation or flurries of individual hyper-expression that always teased and never outstayed their welcome. I was left shellshocked and almost lost for words immediately following their performance. Frivolity, lullabying, romance, questing, struggle, sadness, ecstasy and introspection seemed to come like waves from the stage but, the overall feeling was that the explorations I was witness to were a fun and gentle love letter to the magic of the life experience. In summation… There are very few artists that inspire me to lower my inhibitions enough to literally ASK to work with them again as soon as possible… but that’s exactly what was called for!"

"Absolutely incredible! My husband and I saw them at a wedding fayre and I normally would walk past something like this as I assumed it would just be classical music. I am so glad we stopped and listened to them play! They played such a variety of music (current songs, tv shows, classical) even learnt to play a song for us. We had them playing after our service (25.08.18) whilst people were having drinks and partly whilst eating. They went down so well with our guests. Our only regret is we only had them for 2 hours, if you're debating how long to book them for go longer! They are so talented and also lovely people."

Although I missed the majority of you playing before the ceremony (sorry for being so late!!) we have had lots of guests saying how fantastic you were.
