"Rob played at our wedding on 1st of November and was absolutely fantastic. The range of songs Rob is able to incorporate into his sets is fab. All the guests commented on the music on the day and Rob learned some of.our favourite songs too. Couldn't have asked for more! "

"We've seen Jack perform many times while cruising with Carnival and always looked forward to listening to him sing and play guitar. Jack has a nice repertoire and has absolutely nailed the 60's. We would say his Beatles sets are excellent and the best we've heard anyone perform live. Don't miss this genuine performer....would love to see him again..."

"The band were outstanding, I cannot recommend them highly enough, there was an issue with the caterers and they pushed their set back and changed a few things, which really helped. Rhiannon's voice is incredible. They were professional, flexible and just damn right amazing "

"What a fabulous party we had with everyone entering into the spirit of the ceilidh! The music was great and the caller was exceptionally patient with the disproportionate number of young men at the party. It was a really mixed crowd – plenty of teens and twenties, through to those in their eighties. The dance floor was full throughout the evening and everyone, both young and old joined in, including the determined non dancers. Several people commented on what a lovely time they’d had. I’m very happy to recommend the band."

"Thank you for your lovely performance, the evening was great!!! You were right, the wind & cold brought everyone into the barn to dance, chat & listen to your music!! Compliments from everyone, they loved your music, commented on how good it was to hear a really good live band! The sound was excellent, the caller was approachable, friendly & encouraging. "We really enjoyed the show at Tunbridge Wells. My friend, who is a huge Dolly fan (she saw her at O2) said when she closed her eyes it could have been Dolly singing and she thought you were so much better than a previous Dolly tribute act she had seen. We bought your own album and it's great, you've written some really good songs. Hope to see you again someday."

"We booked Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a Birthday Party with a mixed age group of family and friends. They were great with a special mention to Jennie (the caller) who really worked hard getting us to do the different dances. Everyone really enjoyed the dances and had a lot of fun! I mustn’t forget Jon and Mike who provided the music. I can’t say enough good things about them – just to say that if you book them you will have a great time!"
