"Danny and Catherine played at our wedding a few weeks ago, and I cannot recommend them enough. They play a great range of songs, tailored to your preferences, are great fun, and worked the audience magnificently, getting everyone dancing from the three year-olds to the seventy three year-olds. Before booking, I checked out the clips on you-tube, and compared them with lots of other bands, and no-one else came close. They lived up to, and surpassed, our expectations. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how incredible the live music was. "Oh what a night it was! Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio was the perfect choice for a celebration. They chose dances that matched the skill and enthusiasm of my guests. Setting the right pace is good when lots of guests belong to a running club! Guests from Hong Kong, Greece, Vietnam China and USA had no idea what they were coming to … The band arrived on time, setting up easily and Phil’s friendly manner of instruction was just right. My 6 year old niece (who is VERY shy) shocked her mother by joining the dancing! Lovely comments from guests: “I haven’t danced like that in years” and ” The most fun and dis-organised chaos I’ve had in ages!”"

"Thanks very much for your fantastic set at Marlin's Wynd - we were so glad we picked It's No Reel. The band managed to liven up traditional ceilidh songs, and the caller was excellent at keeping everybody on the dance floor and in high spirits. Our guests definitely all agreed too- we had a lot of positive comments about the band after the event. Tom was also very easy to deal with, responding very quickly to emails."

"I've wanted to try live music in our little Country pub for the longest time and Lucy and Jack were so great I'll definitely be having them back again and again. Engaging, entertaining, and had people up dancing all night. Can't recommend enough!"

"Forget any preconceptions you have about corporate Country bands! Their musical skill is so high that the focus is on a great performance, not just line dancing. They delivered a polished, high-energy show that had people tapping their feet and singing along—it felt like a great rock concert with a Country flair. Truly a safe and exciting choice."

"This awesome pair played at our wedding. A gorgeous atmosphere during / around the ceremony, through the wedding breakfast and on the dance floor. Kelly has a gorgeous voice which grabbed us immediately when choosing who we’d like to perform at our wedding (she did not disappoint!) Graham, a real master on the guitar as we worked him hard for our first dance! They Definitely brought extra magic to our special day. Thaannk YOOOOOOOUUUU xxx"

"I just wanted to get in touch regarding the above booking for our wedding to thank you and your team very much indeed for such a fantastic job providing the ceilidh music. The music itself was absolutely first rate and a number of guests have specifically complemented us on this. You made a very valued contribution to such a special day for us and the atmosphere in the room when the dancing was in full swing was just brilliant. A particularly memorable moment of the whole day for me was the packed dance floor giving it their all to a Strip the Willow with the James Bond theme tune being worked into the music - absolutely superb! "We were a little nervous booking a band only from online material, but Stargazers did not disappoint!! They were incredible. Rhona the manager chatted through all my thoughts and genre style for the playlist and vibe we wanted at our wedding and they got it just right! Everyone was dancing, the band were interactive at all the right points, and they were forgiving of a rather overzealous wedding guest and their impromptu karaoke! These guys did such a good job and we would re-book them in a heartbeat!! "
