They were extremely organised and personable both in advance of and on the day, and most importantly brought the party to our wedding! Everyone was asking where we found Straight Up. "A fantastically talented and professional duo who seem to enjoy an encyclopaedic knowledge of music from Central and Eastern Europe. Although they are only two musicians they produce the sound of a small orchestra. Igor possesses a very fine voice and his renditions of Moscow Nights, Ochi Chornie and Those Were the Days (among a huge list of songs) are second to none. Sarah is a brilliant violinist and domra player. They enhanced our evening and made it quite unforgettable. "

"The Laurels played during our ceremony (3 classics that they learnt for us) and helped make it the best, and most memorable, part of our wedding day - which is what we had hoped for. They have wonderful voices and are very talented musicians, I would happily pay to see them somewhere in the future! Everyone really enjoyed listening to them during our drinks reception too, with many people asking where we found them, whether they had CDs, etc. Lucy was also extremely helpful on the run up to the wedding, helping us plan the music for the ceremony and logistics for the day. If you appreciate good music, they come highly recommended. "

"We saw you playing on board Fred Olsen cruises in the Caribbean and couldn’t get enough! You made our holiday and it was so enjoyable getting to chat to you on a daily basis. Shame we couldn’t stay on with you for longer, 14 nights wasn’t enough Revolver Riot for our liking!"

"After being let down by our usual band, Lilac was kind enough to secure a last-minute band for our 2018 New Year's Eve celebration, which we appreciated wasn't easy. The band was just what we needed. The dance floor was full all evening and bar earnings doubled from the previous year well before midnight. I warmly recommend this high class act."

"Our guests haven’t stopped talking about the band! They were amazing and everyone was dancing from start to finish. All of the songs they played were perfect and we can’t recommend them enough. All of the guys were so lovely and we will definitely be booking them for any future events!"
