"We hired the 440 to play at my brothers wedding as a complete surprise! They were amazing!! Nothing was too much for them! We asked if it was possible to play as the bride and groom left the church - along with the organ. They crept in at the end of the service and surprised everyone - it was beautiful. They then made their way to the reception - due to it being a gorgeous day they were able to play in the garden while the guests were enjoying their welcome drinks. Their repertoire was amazing - from friends theme tune to the game of thrones to pachabels Canon. It was a great accompaniment to their wedding. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for something special. Thank you 440 you made the new Mr & Mrs Jones wedding day a little bit more special!"

"I can't thank and praise Lizy and the band enough for their performance at our wedding 2 weeks ago. They provided an acoustic set for the arrival of our day guests, full 6 piece band sets throughout the evening which included all the classics and DJ set to the close. She also did a cracking job of customising our first dance song 'Simply The Best'. Lizy sent me a recording of it beforehand too which helped me get my hubby practising before the big event! Because we had a marquee we had to arrange most of the suppliers ourselves and were worried how we would keep events moving throughout the evening..e.g announcing first dance/cake cutting/dinner served etc etc.. sure enough Lizy took care of this too with sheer professionalism. We had several reassuring calls/texts before hand too which helped ease co-ordination between other suppliers. One wish for our wedding was that was that our dance floor would be full all evening and sure enough thanks to Lizy and the band it was! Could not recommend enough. Thanks again!"

"These lads were amazing! Plenty of communication in the lead-up with very quick responses and on the day itself everything went without a hitch. The band sounded amazing and played so well! All my guests absolutely loved the band with lots of people commenting on how great they sounded and they played banger after banger - thanks, Jake and lads! "

"Wow where do we even begin? These guys are absolutely incredible at what they do! They played at our wedding on 12/09/25 and we kept them a secret from our guests and boy were they surprised! The dance floor was never empty and the music and song choices were spot on! They read the room and kept the party going and everybody loved it! Thank you all for making our special day a memorable one. Would recommend over and over again cheers guys Love the new Mr and Mrs Stevens 😀 xx"

"Truly the BEST band ever and the most AMAZING people, If you are reading these reviews wondering if The Players are the band for you then let me reassure you that they are...... As a Wedding Photographer I have seen my fair share of bands but The Players were an easy pick for us, they really do know how to liven up the dance floor. We let them have free reign over what music to play and they picked some corkers. All our guests were raving over them and still are 2months later..in fact our friends loved them so much they are also booking them for their wedding :) They made our first dance so special and absolutely nailed the song, so much so we liked there version more than the original, I got in touch with Paddy from The Players and asked if it was possible for them to record there version of the song so I could give it to my wife for her Birthday - a few weeks later and I have the recording - Sara is going to LOVE it!!! If you are looking for a band then I honestly can't recommend them enough, They were easy to book, answered our questions promptly, came to the venue and set up with no issues, played great music all night and got our guests on the dance floor...they smashed it. Thank you all so much and we can't wait to be dancing away to your music at our friends wedding Lots of love Kieran + Sara "

"I honestly can’t thank Danny enough for singing during the drinks reception at my wedding on Saturday; from first contact to the end of his performance he was just a delight and I was thrilled we chose him! I asked him for a certain style of songs (mainly Christmas ones) and he performed them so beautifully. He made the whole atmosphere amazing and my little nieces couldn’t stop dancing! He even stayed to say goodbye which was so sweet and I knew I had made the right choice. If you’re considering a singer, don’t hesitate to get him booked! I’m already thinking of reasons to book again! Thank you so so much!! Xx"
