"Hi Aly (and all the Aluinn and Definitives musicians), WOW - you are brilliant, amazing and totally delivered!!! Thank you all so much for playing at my party at Markington Hall last week and making it such an incredible evening. Really enjoyed both bands equally. Quite a few people were worried about the ceilidh and told me they "probably won't dance" but they did and they didn't seem to stop all night. And then the momentum seemed to pick up even more with the Definitives sets - just fab. Quite a few people have asked me for your details so I hope this will lead to more bookings in our area. "I'm really sorry I didn't get to say thank you last night for your incredible music! You guys were literally awesome and I can't tell you how many people just kept saying to me 'the band is INCREDIBLE!'. Also thank you for performing our first dance song specially for us - I know it wasn't part of your usual repertoire and it was completely beautiful! I hope you had a safe journey home. "Absolutely fantastic. Booked Phil and pete for an end of lockdown party with our closest friends and family and they did not disappoint. Saw them a couple of years ago and had to book them to liven up the party. Arrived on time, professional and extremely friendly. Wonderful singers and made everyone feel involved. Even let me and my friend sing our party piece. Will Definitely book these again. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anybody wanting live music that all ages and tastes can enjoy. Great job lads"

"Honestly, you got the atmosphere so perfect. We couldn’t have been more pleased with how it all went on the roof … my only regret is not having more time!!! "In the world today you are never quite sure what you’ll get: Rest assured that with Kara Strings, you’ll have made the right decision! Such heavenly music with musicians that are equally and truly out of this world. You will not be disappointed and like us, wished it could have never ended. The musicians themselves(?) … as lovely and wonderful as the music! You feel like you’ve been friends with them forever and they will be! We can’t wait to see them again!"

"Wasn't sure what to expect as we had never booked a band before. They were fantastic! what a night we had. Our timings went out the window but they adapted so kindly and what a great and friendly couple. It made my dads evening so special , never seen him dance before and not a dads dance ! thank you so much Tania & Ian we all had a great time and we will definitely be booking again....."
