"I booked the band to play at my husband's surprise 40th birthday party in London. From initial contact to finishing the gig the guys were fantastic. Great communication, very flexible, reliable, incredible musicians and wonderful sense of humour. They were well up for have a go at a song they'd never done before and it turned out to be the song of the night! Thanks so much guys, I'd recommend you in a heartbeat!"

"I booked John to sing at my 40th birthday BBQ and he completely exceeded my expectations. He took requests from all my guests and sang everybody's favourite songs. He even did some Disney for my neice. After his set he stayed for some food and fitted in like part of the family. We enjoyed his cheeky personality as much as his music and if i'm completely honest I think I have developed a bit of a crush. HAHA!"

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"The True Colours were absolutely fantastic at our work BBQ function. They played a great set and then showed terrific flexibility by moving inside, in order to play another set when the weather got cold. They really created a terrific atmosphere and made the night a real success."

The lead singer was excellent as well as the rest of the band and the guitars! They also did a great job of interacting with the audience and the dance floor was always full. "Whilst some duos stick to a traditional & tried and tested route, A & B have avoided that. They have chosen a hip approach to their covers and original set! Not a light-hearted approach either! They are here to play... to give a new listening experience... a must see in the LIVE! Unique in all aspects."
