Review Centre: Pop Bands

"Just a note to say thank you all for treating us to an evening of wonderful music and entertainment. It was just what we had hoped for and more, we could not have been more delighted. In essence the two brilliant sets of music it hit all the right notes catering for a very wide age-range. We had many enquiries after the event as to how we found the band so I have been very happily referring them. We have been to many events recently and none of the live bands have come anywhere close to your standard, so thanks so much for saying 'Yes' to our initial enquiry. When looking at bands on the internet, (I listened to what seemed to be hundreds), I drew up a short list, then listened to all the demo tracks and videos and put my top four in order of priority. This I then asked my husband to listen to (as it was his birthday), and his top four were pretty much the same with 21C being number 1 on both lists! My only concern, once we had decided, was that you might say 'No sorry we don't travel to Shropshire', so I was very relieved and happy when you said 'Yes'! Also, the fact that the band were early and happy to set up themselves meant no hassle for us on the night. The only downside is that it was over too quickly and I am trying to rack my brains to think of an excuse to do it all over again. Our youngest son does have a 21st to sort out, so you never know, you might be hearing from us again. Just by way of thanks for your help Helen, and to Jay and the boys for driving all the way to Shropshire to play for us, a separate gift is winging it's way to you."

"Thank you for Friday night! You guys were amazing, our guests all commented on how great you were and I'm sure you could tell by how many were on the dancefloor. Highlight of the night had to be leading the conga through the De Grey Rooms, though not sure how well the video worked out, I'm a beginner with a selfie stick!!! Thanks so much for helping to make it a night to remember."

"Booking through last minute musicians was professional and easy! The Lost (band we booked) Adam was really good throughout the booking, responding to emails quickly, providing an extensive set list to pick songs we definitely wanted, ones we didn’t mind either way and ones we didn’t want. He also sent a test clip singing our first dance song to see if we wanted the track or the band - we definitely wanted the band! The band were so good and kept a full dance floor all night, throughout their sets and DJ’ing. They had a friendly and professional attitude. Thanks so much! Ellie & Tom"

"We couldn't have been more pleased that we picked The Romantics as our wedding band. Aside from being really talented musicians and incredibly professional in the lead up to the wedding, they were absolutely phenomenal on the day and really got everyone involved. The fact that they moved around was also amazing, as it worked well for a summer's evening when people wanted to be outdoors, as they also got to dance and sing along outside without missing out. I couldn't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a band for an event and so many of our guests are still saying what a great choice they were. We absolutely loved you guys! "

"Wonderful high quality entertainment, dancing and singing is fantastic. I would recommend Through The Decades Trio to anyone having a party, wedding or in need of entertainment. We had them at the Royal Naval Association in Welwyn Garden City and the Girls are very friendly and will accommodate whatever music you require from the war years to present day. I cannot speak highly enough of the ladies."

"I booked Sticky Jack for our Hampshire hotel minibreak for 76 people. Gareth made booking simple, providing all the info requested in a fast efficient manner. The lads arrived punctually, setting up without disturbing our pre dinner drinks or meal. They tailored their music to exactly suit the age group. Every number was played & sung with solid sound & vocals, exactly like the original version. In a very short space of time they had everyone on the dance floor. By popular request, they played beyond the agreed time with a much applauded oncore. A great evening, enjoyed by all."

"Firstly, thank you so much to The Covered, you were amazing! Thank you. xx The initial enquiry was promptly responded to. We traded a few e mails and a phone call, I got a sense from our first contact that you were approachable, friendly and passionate about delivering the best performance you could for your client. On the day of the event, you were present at the venue nearly 3 hours before the start of the performance. Whilst I struggled with helium balloons (I now know I could never be a children's entertainer!!) I could see and hear how much attention to detail went into the preparation for your performance. I think it's worth mentioning that your sound engineer, Ivan, is an absolute expert. I felt very lucky to see and hear your passion as all of the band prepared for the performance. During the course of the set up, I had the opportunity to catch up with individual band members. You were all so down to earth and friendly it really set the scene for an inclusive and friendly evening. Coming on to the performance. Stunning!! Incredible and stunning. The stage backdrop was very attractive and complimented the performance. The drums! Super fantastic to watch and hear. There was so much to see and hear from The Covered, all of it fantastic! One of the guests told me later, "The band were great, certainly the best I have heard for many years". To be fair, the compliments for your performance were non stop. If you are reading this review as a potential client, don't hesitate!! Book this amazing band before they get snapped up. Lastly, thank you John, and thanks to your band, your sound engineer and your backing vocalist. We had such a heart warming family celebration at which you were the front and centre. Hiring The Covered was a privilege. If we are to do the same again we will be in touch xxxx"

"Had the Pedal Tones as our wedding band because their video clips looked great. They were even better live. Really chilled out guys, who cannot do enough for you. They want your experience to be the best it can be and will go above and beyond for you. We had so many of our guests asking where we found them because they were so impressed. Can’t recommend Tony and the guys highly enough! Thanks guys John and Linzi."
