"The Covered played at our wedding in London recently and from the first minute after we booked to their last song at the wedding they were thoroughly professional, personable, and great fun. They played a two-hour-plus set that got everyone up dancing like lunatics. What more could you ask for!? Their song list spans from the 60s through to the now and the band read the crowd to make sure the next song played is going to keep everyone up and dancing. We booked them knowing very little about them, but we're so glad we did. John was extremely helpful throughout the process and goes the extra yard to make his clients happy."

"The Covered were great throughout the planning of our wedding and their performance on the actual day! We got married on New Years eve, and given the covid rates around this time it was pretty touch and go whether new restrictions would be put in place. John stayed in touch throughout which was reassuring! On the day, unfortunately one of the vocalists was taken unwell which meant that John and the rest of the band had to re work their set list pretty much on the spot. That being said, we would never have known if john had not told us. Their performance was great and all of the guests really enjoyed the evening! Would highly recommend The Covered for other weddings and events! Thank you."

"The service received from last minute musicians was perfect. Quick to respond to any emails and queries and were always professional and courteous. The musician we went with, Gary Trotman - Steelasophical, was the icing on the cake for our wedding day and really did make the day even better than I could ever have imagined. Thank you."

"Fantastic acoustic set from The Miacats during our welcome drinks at our wedding followed by an amazing golden oldies set in the evening with Mia's four piece band. Mia was also very friendly and easy going. We couldn't have asked for a better band to perform at our wedding. Thank you, Mia!"

You had an ex professional sound engineer, a musical director and a choreographer among the guests so the comments were not made lightly. Plus me who runs a theatrical sound and Lighting business. "We booked Shakers Gold for our wedding celebrations after watching their promo video & we are so pleased we did, they exceeded all expectations. They really started the party, getting young and old up dancing within minutes of playing. They performed our first dance song wonderfully. Many guests have passed comment on how great the band were throughout the evening & the dance floor was never empty.The band were discreet in setting up/down & were really responsive to all communication beforehand. We all had a fantastic time and can’t thank Shakers Gold enough! Now looking for an excuse to have you play again!! Thanks again, and we’ll be sure to follow you and come and see you play in the future"
