"I would like to express a huge thank you to you all for making our partyon Saturday night at The Square Tower in Portsmouth such a fantastic night! You played a great mix and you really know how to play to a party crowd! Everyone expressed their thanks and commented on how great you guys were! I will certainly be in touch in the future when organising events to hear you all over again! "We were looking for a band to play at our evening reception for our wedding .. what can I say ??? Apart from WOW !!!!!l Lizy and her team were fabulous !!l we met up before the big day to discuss the playlist and our chosen songs .. Lizy had all our guests on their feet ... Everyone was saying just how good they where, and how well they sounded .. Lizy we can't thank you enough for being at our wedding ... Our guests haven't stopped talking about you and the team ... "We had the Back2Skool Duo for our wedding on Saturday and they were fantastic! Had people on the dance floor all night- we did not want the night to end! Tracy made the communication and planning really easy and the band prepared our requests. Would highly recommend the band!!"

"We had a fantastic day and a huge part of it was down to 10x! Everyone has been raving about you and we've lost count of how many friends and family have described you guys as 'the best wedding band ever' (it’s still happening 3 weeks later!)! The music was absolutely brilliant and everyone had such a fantastic time and you had everyone dancing all night which I don’t think I have ever seen before - and all generations too which was lovely to see. It goes without saying that if we’re ever asked for any wedding recommendations you will be top of the list!"

"We booked the Shakesters to play at a joint 30th and 60th birthday party with a 1950′s and 1980′s theme, a wide age range to entertain! They were absolutely fantastic, got everyone dancing with some great interaction with the guests and making sure the birthday boy and birthday girl got shouts outs and were the centre of attention! They were really organised, making sure they knew what we were expecting from them in the planning stages, to setting up promptly and playing an epic set! Highlight of the night, a great group of guys and we could not recommend them enough for any function!"

"We are so pleased we chose Platinum Band to play at our wedding. They smashed every song, they've got fabulous taste in music and we had so many compliments from our guests. The dance floor was full the whole night. We've been to lots of weddings and I've got to say, the best band by far! Highly recommended!"

"We had these guys for my daughter’s 18th birthday party in the garden. They were brilliant. Friendly, enthusiastic, very talented and played a wide variety of music that had all ages dancing - we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would love to use them again - book them quickly, they’re going to be very popular!"

"I was given the responsibility of choosing the entertainment for our wedding and I knew I had found the right group when I came across Detroit Deluxe. Their repertoire of songs stood out from the others as they cover multiple genres without all the modern cliché covers. The vocalists were outstanding and spent time with us chatting after the 2 sets which was a really nice moment. I have had several guests ask me for their details after the wedding. They were outstanding professionals and had people on the dance floor all evening. They suggested us a set list and we changed a few of the tracks with no issue. Their cover of our chosen track by Ben Howard was exceptional and still gives me goosebumps when I listen back to it now. Thanks so much to the band and say no more I would of course recommend them. They truly made our day. "
