Your music was fantastic and everyone commented on how brilliant you played and how professional you were. The Electric Lights were as good, if not better than promised. The singer has an amazing voice and we were so pleased that they played our first dance. You helped make our wedding day very memorable and everyone was enjoying your performance very much indeed!! "Hello Jimmy I just wanted to say a huge T H A N K Y O U to you and the band for your performance at my birthday bash at the weekend, you were absolutely brilliant. You got the party started and kept everybody on their feet all night, fantastic set choice (I knew I’d made the right decision to let you choose the music) and you matched my preferences perfectly – I don’t recall any tracks that didn’t have me tapping my toes. I am especially touched by the memory of your rendition of a song played personally for me [the Palaye Royale track], which you and the band learnt specifically for my party – absolutely incredible. You should see the smile I have at this moment remembering it. There aren’t enough superlatives to properly express how grateful I am, a party needs people but people need good bouncy music to feel good and you provided the perfect soundtrack for a feel good night. The music soundtrack you selected between your sets and whilst setting up was perfect too, the party never missed a beat! You are all clearly talented musicians who know your instruments very well, as evidenced by learning the new track for me, and I would ask you to pass on my thanks to Mickey and Neil (just simply brilliant) and the irrepressible Stuart banging away on his D-Drum Dios Bubinga snare drum – he was a joy to meet! Thank you, I hope I get to see you again. "

"The Blue Jewel Ceilidh band were fantastic and really made our event. They got everyone up dancing and dealt with with a large group of people. Somehow they got us all dancing in formation and getting most of the steps correct! This was a fund raising event for us so it was important to have a value for money band and to run an event that people enjoyed and would remember. Blue Jewel certainly achieved this. The feedback from guests was that they had a fantastic time and would attend a similar event next year. The fact several of our guests asked for Blue Jewel's contact details also speaks of how popular they were. Thank you again for helping us run such a successful and enjoyable event."
