"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

Your music was absolutely perfect - right from the music in the ceremony to the full band in the evening. Everyone commented on how amazing your voice is and so I just wanted to let you know how much we and everyone else enjoyed your music. My 4 year old niece Emma was your biggest fan - the next morning when she woke up, she was apparently asking for you and your music! "

"Small Days guitarist Dave Merrick was the master of ceremonies, with vocalist Natalie Davies and sax player Brendan Whitmore joining him for the live songs. Dave unfolded the story at a well-judged pace, with records of Bessie Smith’s evocative voice even drawing applause from the attentive audience whenever they were included. The live contribution was important, too, and Natalie wisely steered away from imitating Bessie’s full-throated contralto to emphasis the singer’s lyrics with an upbeat swing on numbers like Need A Little Sugar and Send Me To The Electric Chair. Brendan Whitmore switched between soprano and tenor sax, the former particularly eloquent on Need A Little Sugar, the latter coming to the fore on T’Aint Nobody’s Business If I Do. All in all it was a satisfying journey through blues history with one of the great women who made the music what it became. "The South west swing collective played on our Wedding day and they were absolutely fantastic! They picked great music, perfectly mirroring what we’d asked for, and intuitively picked up on the vibe they got off of our guests. Everybody loved them and it gave the night a real energy. They engaged the crowd and helped create a party we will never forget! We would highly recommend them to anyone who wants live entertainment for any event. An overwhelmingly positive experience from start to finish."

"Soul Generations performed at our wedding this weekend just gone and they were everything we could have wanted! The whole band sounded brilliant and song choices were perfect. From first to last song we enjoyed every second of it, they interacted well with our guests, had a great sound from wherever you were in the venue, and kindly allowed us to use their PA system after to continue the music until the end of the night. I couldn't recommend them more!"
