"Straight Up not only had the dance floor packed all night, but the whole area around the dance floor too! Jeremy has an unbelievable voice and performance style - it feels wrong to describe them as a wedding band because they are just an incredibly talented group of musicians who happen to be able to sing brilliant covers with their own stamp. They were also an absolute delight to deal with throughout and took the 1.5 hour delay in starting as a result of dinner overrunning in their stride. Thank you for making our wedding day so special, and for giving us so many wonderful memories. "

"This long-standing UK jug band capture the knockabout sound of the best Memphis jug bands of the 20s and 30s extremely well in addition to turning their hand to melodic blues, vintage jazz, old timey music and hokum. It all makes for a very fine and fun releas."

"Well this was something different…! Long-term friends and musical duo Paul Anderson (vocals/keyboard) and Dennis Fisher (guitar) brought the cool and refreshing sounds of Jazz/Blues/Soul/R&B ballads to the foyer, which went down very well with the people stopping to listen or passing through on their way to less enjoyable clinical commitments. "The Rampart Street Ramblers played a wonderful mix of music at our wedding as guests arrived, mingled and drank at our wedding reception. The weather was not as dry as we'd hoped, so the band moved around to various places around the venue to entertain different groups. Beforehand, Dai called me and was very happy to cater to our specific tastes and needs. So many of our guests told us they were great, and at least one couple have asked for their details for their wedding too. My only disappointment was I didn't get to hear them much as I was being dragged off in all directions. "
