"We booked Straight Up for our wedding in April 2024, and they were absolutely amazing! We were slightly hesitant as we only had the promo video on the website to go off, but the band were even better in person. We loved that they had an extensive list of songs on their repertoire, and they happily played all 32 songs that we requested from that list! Communication prior to the wedding was clear, and the booking process was really easy. The band ensured that the dancefloor was full throughout the night, and we had such great feedback from all of our guests. They even learnt a 'last song' for us rather than a first dance, which was an amazing way to end the night. "

"We engaged Dave and Natalie (‘Small Days’) for our annual dinner and dance. They played for over an hour and a half whilst our 200 guests were eating. Their music selection was a wonderful mixture of vocal jazz and early blues with the occasional instrumental from Dave. Natalie has a wonderful voice and she used it to brilliant effect. Dave’s guitar accompaniments were truly excellent. Furthermore, the music struck a perfect balance between being entertaining for listeners whilst not being intrusive up on the conversation of diners. "LCS entertained nearly 600 blues fans as they queued to board the P&O International Blues Revue in Hull on 4th November. Playing for almost two hours the trio maintained a high-energy performance throughout- not an easy task when your audience is there simply to walk out on you eventually! They are versatile, talented and utterly professional. They had feet tapping and faces smiling - the queues weren't shorter they just felt that way! Thank you LCS!"
