"I first stumbled across Dave one afternoon while walking through Dean Village in Edinburgh. I heard music drifting from under the Dean Bridge and was instantly drawn to it. There he was, playing and singing with such warmth and soul that I stood in awe for quite some time. I took his card that day, never knowing how beautifully our paths would cross again. When my now-husband proposed and we began planning our wedding in Loch Lomond, we knew we wanted Dave to be part of it. He played during our champagne reception, joined by a saxophonist, and created the most magical atmosphere. His infectious smile and genuine warmth shone through his music, captivating not only us but all of our guests. Everyone loved him as much as we did! We’ll treasure those memories forever and know we’ll be inviting him again for future celebrations. Thank you, Dave, for sharing your incredible gift with us."

"Couldn't recommend the band more, they were truly amazing! Funk'N'Soul performed at a corporate party for us, they came with a DJ included which was a bonus. Everyone was dancing and had an incredible evening. Will definitely use them again"

"This long-standing UK jug band capture the knockabout sound of the best Memphis jug bands of the 20s and 30s extremely well in addition to turning their hand to melodic blues, vintage jazz, old timey music and hokum. It all makes for a very fine and fun releas."

"The Starcasters were amazing when they played at our wedding celebration. From the time we booked them the communication was great. The music and singing was first class. They are all very talented. They played a good selection of music and people stayed on the dance floor. We had a lot of people saying how much they enjoyed the music. We would definitely recommend them and look forward to seeing them perform again."

"We booked Straight Up for our wedding in April 2024, and they were absolutely amazing! We were slightly hesitant as we only had the promo video on the website to go off, but the band were even better in person. We loved that they had an extensive list of songs on their repertoire, and they happily played all 32 songs that we requested from that list! Communication prior to the wedding was clear, and the booking process was really easy. The band ensured that the dancefloor was full throughout the night, and we had such great feedback from all of our guests. They even learnt a 'last song' for us rather than a first dance, which was an amazing way to end the night. "

"They were absolutely fantastic. The dance floor was full all night, and they interacted with guests so well. One of our nephews was invited on stage with them for a guitar solo which he LOVED and was such a nice touch. Can't recommend Straight Up enough. "

"The Mustangs were absolutely amazing when they played our wedding in August! The dance floor was packed all night long and when it got to 12.30 and their set had finished and we realised we hadn’t put a playlist together for the last half hour they very generously let us keep their equipment going and use their playlist till the end of the night! So many people have commented on how incredible the band were since! Fully recommend these guys! We loved every second! "
