And also to everyone in the band, who were just amazing on the day. Everyone said what a fabulous band you were and we completely agree. "Through the 11 years that I have known Rory both as a friend and colleague, I have found him to possess many excellent qualities. He is extremely organised and pays close attention to detail. I have worked in his band Latina Carnivale since 2013 and found him to be very efficient in running his production company [management]. The events are always diligently co-ordinated with all the operational info sent out well in advance, so we always know what to expect. I have found Rory to be very reliable and always keeps his word. I think he would be a great asset to any music or arts organisation. He has a wealth of knowledge to impart to peers from his years of music-making. His approach is fun and engaging whilst bringing lots of ideas to the table."

"These guys were absolutely fantastic. They were organised, helpful, provided their own AV equipment, and were very flexible amongst many changing plans And the music was phenomenal. They were so good at reading the room and the tone of each part of the event. They had everyone up dancing! Amazing, definitely my swing/jazz band of choice for any future events."

"The Songbirds were the perfect act for our jubilee party. Punctual, professional, sounded great and really looked the part. Sang a variety of songs to appeal to, and please everyone. Would highly recommend The Songbirds for any function. "

"Saw this duo play on Thursday in High Wycombe. Great Irish set for St Patrick's Day. The whole crowd were singing and banging the tables, and there was even some Irish dancing. Excellent guitarist and lovely singing. Danny boy brought a tear to my eye. Let us know when you are up this way next."

"I felt I must write and express my admiration for your wonderful band which played so well at our Wedding on Monday at Prestonfield House Hotel. You had gone to so much trouble to play Israeli music and to find those two girls was a stroke of genius. Alison was a terrific compere and I thought that everyone picked up the dances so quickly and so well. It was amazing how the Scottish and Jewish dances blended in so well together. Many, Many thanks to you all."

"Fantastic band: they played last weekend for my 50th birthday party. Very friendly guys, happy to ‘go with the flow’ and start playing once food finished and it started to get dark so people came inside after enjoying the lovely sunset! Great guys, great music, thoroughly recommend them. Thanks for a fun evening!"

"The Blaggers' music was irresistibly danceable. Their energetic and extremely skilled performance created a highly festive air. Their interpretations of folk music were as original as it was entertaining. I would not hesitate in recommending this hugely professional band. "
