"Die Dorf Fest Kapelle Oompah Band were a great addition to Northampton’s German Christmas Market for Dec 2014. A fabulous combination of traditional oompah music, combined with Lady Gaga, The Pet Shop Boys, and a smattering of techno and disco…. The faces of the punters at the beer keller were a picture, as they realised just what they were dancing to..!..just great. From beer supping officer workers on their lunch, to pensioners on shopping trips, they held everyone’s attention, with much smiling and dancing. Great outfits, great musicianship, good times."

"We booked the Glo band for last Saturday evening July 8th 2017 for a big family celebration involving all ages and a wide range of people from our Village. We have had nothing but praise for the band since last Saturday and wanted to write a few words of thanks to them for making it a very special occasion for us. The band arrived and set themselves up and then ensured that they contacted us to determine when we wanted them to play and fill in where needed. They performed to a very high standard and our local musicians were all very impressed. The played a broad range of music for all the age groups and everybody was dancing and singing at the end of the evening. A big thank you from Alan and Janet and the Village of Penshurst. "

"Thanks so much for playing our big night! We’ve gotten so many compliments on how awesome it was to have incredible live music. On another notes, had I mentioned that “Let’s Dance” is a rather significant song for both Jacqueline and me or was that pure coincidence that you guys decided to open with that? Either way, both sets were incredible. Please pass my praise onto all of your band members!"

"Good Morning Suzanna, I am sorry that I have not dropped you a line before but I have been very busy catching up on things I neglected in the run up to the Standish evening. Just to say thanks to you and all the band for helping to make a great evening. Compliments from residents and friends, on the evening as a whole and the band in particular, have been universal. It was wonderful to see the community have such a good time and for the event to be so inclusive for all age groups. In addition we made @£1,000 for the Church so not bad for a first attempt. "Now what can I say about the Band, Solid Gold. The event was my Masonic Lodge Ladies evening, of which I have the great honour of being master in its centenary year. As a result I wanted the evening to be the best possible, I was not disappointed. Paul and the band arrived mid afternoon for the event even though they were not due on stage until 9pm. Communication between us prior to the event was excellent, very professional and informative, then we get to the evening itself. WOW!!! What a night, over the years I have booked acts for many organisations and I have got to say Solid Gold stand out as the best by a country mile. Every single person had a fabulous evening and that was down to Solid Gold. During our pre event discussion Paul ask for details of the event, what kind of audience it would be and what kind of music I would like them to perform. As a result the band put together a playlist that was absolutely perfect, unbelievably now knowing that I am a big fan of The Who they set about learning a couple of Who songs,which they had never done before, perfect!!!! If anyone is looking for a band that are musically excellent, reliable and know just how to entertain an audience, Solid Gold have got to be their number one option, I cannot praise them enough. Thank you so much"

"The Laurels played during our ceremony (3 classics that they learnt for us) and helped make it the best, and most memorable, part of our wedding day - which is what we had hoped for. They have wonderful voices and are very talented musicians, I would happily pay to see them somewhere in the future! Everyone really enjoyed listening to them during our drinks reception too, with many people asking where we found them, whether they had CDs, etc. Lucy was also extremely helpful on the run up to the wedding, helping us plan the music for the ceremony and logistics for the day. If you appreciate good music, they come highly recommended. "

"I hired the 2 piece option for a family party after seeing the full band performing locally. However I wasn’t disappointed at all, they were just as amazing. I have to say these are my favourite band, and recommend for any function. If I was aware of them when I got married they would have got the gig. So professional throughout and made it all very easy. Thanks guys, hopefully we you soon."

"Kingfisher are absolutely brilliant. They entertained at my 50th birthday garden party and everybody loved them. Their communication beforehand was excellent. They played 3 sets and their music choices were spot on. They really made the whole party. Thank you so much lads we will definitely be booking you again. "

"We booked Eccentric Pony for our wedding and nothing was too much trouble, the atmosphere was electric, the dance floor was full all night and the band were amazing. From learning our first dance song to getting every person in the room dancing. Everyone commented on how great they were! Lisa & Andy"
