Review Centre: Background Music Bands

"Just wanted to say how happy I was with MIB’s performance at Newham Under the Stars! The weather wasn’t exactly on our side and this showed in slightly lower audience figures than I would have liked, but those determined concert go-ers who came out despite the showers, chilly winds and muddy part thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I’m sure you could tell from the audience response just how much your performance was appreciated and I hope you enjoyed performing as much as the audience enjoyed watching you. Great music, great vocals and great energy! Considering that this is a free community event, the production was impressively slick and professional and this was in no small part due to MIB’s appearance. Watching video clips back you could quite easily be watching a televised event on the Beeb and I am so proud of it and so pleased that MIB was part of it."

"We booked Pine Acoustics for our very special 20th Wedding Anniversary at home in our garden. Well what can I say from the first point of contact through to the day itself they were so professional. We requested our wedding song, some pop tunes and some jazz, which they included in their sets and performed to perfection. A very talented musician made the guitar sing and Conor's superb vocals combined for an evening of pure enjoyment. We wholeheartedly recommend Jazz Eclipse!"

We can honestly say you and the band exceeded our expectations! Of course, I had seen you perform before but you seemed even more amazing this time around. ?? The feedback from our wedding guests was unbelievable and they were so blown away by your performance, one guest commented she will remember the evening forever! Your professionalism, talent and approach to ensuring your guests feel welcome and included was fantastic. "Thank you immensely for the absolutely superb performance at Ratho Parish Church. The success of a wedding relies so much on background music and Scotland Strings certainly excelled in that regard. Personally, Gill and I missed out somewhat as our arrival, by dint of normal bride and father custom and practice, occurred in the late stages of your performance. However, our guests spoke very highly indeed of your presence and delivery and raved of how the quality enhanced a momentous occasion. "I am going to struggle to find the words to describe just how fantastic ReMix were on Saturday night. Maybe a piece of feedback from one of my friends might do it "best party in Thames Ditton ever". Both bands were incredible. I loved the way that they interacted with everyone and really got involved rather than just playing in the corner. And the music! My toes were tapping as early as the sound check. Another friend said yesterday that her feet hurt because every time she moved off the dance floor, another great song got her back on it. It was really outstanding and I am very grateful. "

"Becky was absolutely fabulous, we are so glad that we chose her. I had a sense that she would be good, based on the videos and reviews on your site but she exceeded all expectations. Her style, professionalism and approach to the music was perfect and very fitting for the occasion. I know that my mum would have been very pleased. We have had many positive comments on the event and Becky's contribution most certainly raised the whole thing to a higher level of experience."

"Wendy was superb from the first communication. Very efficient and on the day turned up an hour or so before start time to prepare. Wendy is a lovely person but fantastic Sax Player too, all our guests commented on how great she was and how lovely it was to arrive with Wendy playing in the background. Would definitely book her again and would thoroughly recommend her to anyone wanting some lovely background music. Great Job Wendy. Thanks Robbie and Caroline "
