Review Centre: Big Bands

"You all play such great swing music, real foot-tapping and memorable numbers, putting it over in fine style with much good humour, which comes over very well to an audience. There is so much talent from you all with a switch so easily from instrument to instrument its fantastic. Also some terrific singing and to have four vocalists on the night as well was a bonus. Simone is as splendid as ever and a delight to listen to, with some great numbers too from that next door 'lad' in voice and on the sax. I was also impressed with some good horn blowing whilst playing the piano at the same time! Quite a feat and impressed many of my friends who watched in admiration! But thanks to you all for giving us all an enjoyable and memorable night."

"Would fully recommend Martin. Great singer and real nice guy as well. He made my wife's birthday party very special. Good interactions with the audience but not in an overbearing or embarrassing anyone way. Amazing as well that he travelled the width of the country to entertain us."

"Thank you so much for once again providing such excellent entertainment for my recent birthday party. Such a superb, fantastic, tremendously entertaining cabaret - my guests thought it was brilliant, the feedback from them had been tremendous and the way you moved from one style into the party music later, led my guests to believe we had two different bands! The band members are so talented and diverse and provide music for all tastes. My evening was perfect and I shall always recall the party. The very glamorous dancers proved to be a very popular point in the evening so please thank them for me. We regularly hold functions at our home and my guests love the element of surprise I always try to provide for them, each time I try to think of something everyone will enjoy and you guys always hit the spot, so I very much look forward to a return visit by your band. "

Quite a few of our guests said they were left astounded by your performance. So full of energy, passion and talent. A massive sound. Basically not what you normally get at a wedding. So yes, we did get engaged at one of your gigs. You were headline at our wedding. I’m now thinking we have our 40th birthdays coming up so we may well be making further enquiries with you. "The best band ever! We absolutely loved having The Will Blake Band at our wedding. They were one of the absolute highlights of the day! every said they were amazing! Will’s beautiful red piano immediately catches your eye, and the energy and professionalism of the whole band was incredible. The female vocalists looked fantastic in their gold glittery dresses, and the guys had subtle touches of gold too - they all looked polished, fun, and ready to put on a show. We opted for the six-piece band! During dinner, Will played the piano beautifully, it felt like we were in a classy, fun jazz bar with low lights and great music. Guests at the table next to him kept giving requests, and honestly, Will is like a human jukebox. During the drinks reception, the saxophone performance was fantastic, and before dinner, Will had everyone up on their feet for our entrance song. We trusted him to choose the perfect track, and he nailed it, it couldn’t have been better. Their performance exceeded all expectations. They don’t just play the songs they perform them and Will on the piano is the star of the show. Their customer service was brilliant, their professionalism was spot-on, and the energy and talent they brought to the stage was perfect. If you’re considering booking them for your wedding or any party, do it, you will not regret it. Everyone was on the dance floor all night - a really great mix of songs and you can let Will know if you have any specific ones for your big day. Thank you so much to Will and the whole band for making our day so special. Absolutely AWESOME. 10 Stars!!!!"
