"Last year I saw Rythm Rebels play at the Brixton Jamm. The crowd at the event was young, probably university students and other people close to my age, and the spirits were high. Everyone was chatting excitedly about what we were going to see. When the lights went out and the countdown finished, energetic music filled the room and everyone started dancing and enjoying themselves. Song after song I was more and more immersed in the show and was thoroughly enjoying myself. Rythm Rebels ensured that we heard some all-time favourites and also presented to us some original work. What I especially liked was the fact that I heard a fresh take on songs I already know which made them even more interesting. At the end of the night I was feeling energised and went home recharged. Altogether, it was a fantastic experience and I had a blast! I am looking forward to having the chance to see the Rythm Rebels perform again. "

"Wow wow wow - what a talented pair of musicians. Both my wife & I are so glad we chose you to play at both the church and the reception for our wedding. I really can't praise you both enough. You really did make our day that extra special, and so many of our friends and family agreed. The only bit I was disappointed with was that we didn't book you to play in the garden longer as time just flew by and we could have listened to you play all day. Thank you so much guys x "

"I have seen these guys play over the years as a duo and part of a band MAPS, they are absolutely brilliant and they will 100% be playing at my wedding whenever it happens!! Amy’s voice is magical and together with Mark they make the most wonderful harmonies that’ll give you goosebumps the minute they start singing! Could not recommend enough for any event you might host."

"Think prohibition, speakeasy , stripped back raw blues , soul searching sadness counter balanced with hope and optimism. Ma Bessie and her Blues Troupe exceeded all expectations with a great narrative and music show at Bridgwater Art Center . Close your eyes and listen to Julia Titus a powerful voice packed with emotion and expression and you were back in the 1920's and 1930's. From performing in tents, speakeasies to Vaudeville to becoming the blues singer of the era . Bessie Smith was a legend . Ma Bessie and the Blues Troupe supported by The Rag and Moan Men are not to be missed!!"

You guys were literally awesome and I can't tell you how many people just kept saying to me 'the band is INCREDIBLE!'. Also thank you for performing our first dance song specially for us - I know it wasn't part of your usual repertoire and it was completely beautiful! I hope you had a safe journey home. "The best! Having witnessed them playing at a friends wedding and not only being impressed by their talent but how friendly they were, I booked them for my daughters 21st; which included people of all ages from 2 years old to 70yrs old and they were professional on time extremely friendly and flipping talented....everyone was up and dancing! Funnily enough even though it was my daughters party my Dad absolutely loved the boys...he was made up! "

"I had the chapel hill duo playing at my wedding on 18th February 2017 for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. As soon as I walked out my room and heard them playing started off my tears. Beautiful music played by two lovely people. Thank you so much xxx"
