"We booked the Hot Hats for our Silver Wedding party. I was a little nervous about booking a band on-line, but needn't have worried - these guys are awesome! We wanted a small band (because of space) but also wanted fun, energy and everyone up and dancing. These boys delivered - and then some! I had an idea of how I wanted the evening to be and every dream I had was exceeded. These guys were punctual, efficient, polite, professional, fun, charming and they can really play! I lost count of the number of people who commented on how great they were (even my dad!!). The dance floor was full for the entire time they were playing and I think people could have gone on dancing for hours to their music. We unreservedly recommend these lads and are now trying to find another occasion for a party so we can book them again!"

"This long-standing UK jug band capture the knockabout sound of the best Memphis jug bands of the 20s and 30s extremely well in addition to turning their hand to melodic blues, vintage jazz, old timey music and hokum. It all makes for a very fine and fun releas."

"Thank you very much for playing for us on Saturday. It was excellent and exactly what I wanted. Everyone said how much they enjoyed the music and the fact that they could maintain a conversation whilst still enjoying your playing. I am only sorry that the musicians hear the public thanks because my birthday cake only came out after they had gone which is when I said how pleased was with the music. "The sun came out and The Dixie Strollers went down very well indeed. The background type music suited the lazy summer afternoon event and was exactly what we wanted.
