"Alfie and the "Hot Hats" were amazing! They absolutely made our wedding celebration. They were very professional, flexible, reassuring and calm in the run-up to the big day - no dramas, everything was easy, and we knew we were in good hands. They turned up early and brought great sound and light kit with them (easily big enough for our festival-feel outdoors event). They played all the tunes we'd requested beforehand for the DJ set, then proceeded to wow everyone with upbeat live playing and singing from their extensive set list that got everyone to their feet. We won't forget everyone sitting down to James's "Sit Down" in a hurry! Alfie was great with the crowd and he and Owen were not only extremely good musicians (we had some professionals in the audience who also commented on how good they were) but also really nice chaps to have around - they just made the whole thing happier and more fun. What more could you ask for from a wedding band? We're so very pleased we found Hot Hats and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Alfie!"

"The Midnight Breeze Duo performance in my book presentation of “Trīs” in Riga was a truthful and emotional enjoyment for the listeners. Nora’s and Will’s duo had a great understanding of coherent musicianship and they diversified their repertoire by singing songs in different languages (English, Latvian and French). Will’s lively playing compliments Nora’s beautiful tone, which allows them to improvise. They are an amazing new duo who have a great future in the music business!"

"Hired a jazz trio with Dan for my wedding - which was themed around an outdoor garden party. Dan was fantastic at keeping in touch and booking couldn't have been easier. The guys were there and ready for when they said they would be, and they were absolutely brilliant! Provided the perfect backdrop to our event, excellent musicians too. I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys, and should I have any events in future that would suit some smooth jazz then these guys would be top of the list!"

"From confirming the booking to making our wedding day an amazing party, Sax Life were fantastic. Professional and easy to communicate with they took all our wants and song list and made the day and night for us and our guests. They blended seamlessly into the venue, looking great and working with the venue staff to make our special day. The venue manager also told us how great they were. The first dance was made extra special with the sax and we couldn't be happier. I would recommend to anyone planning their special day."

From going with the flow of the timings of the day, to such positivity and beautiful vocals and music making, to making my grandma feel special having a nice chat about Northumberland, it felt like we had some friends along to our wedding to play for us. "Lion Strings played at our wedding in August this year and was one of the best decisions we made for our day. She is incredibly talented and her music was just stunning during our drinks reception and wedding breakfast. We had so many compliments from guests about her and she was such a pleasure to have as part of our day. If you are looking for the best harpist for your wedding look no further as you have found her! Thank you sincerely for making our day so perfect."

"We hired the Edinburgh Ceilidh Trio for our wedding and they were fantastic, we had 3 hours of playing and I don't think the dance floor was empty once. They were great at explaining the dances to the guests, allowing them to quickly learn the dances and have a go. Many of the guests - most of which had never done a ceilidh before - all reported how much fun they had. "

"Trio Capriccio played at our wedding last September and we couldn’t recommend them enough! We really wanted something different to the usual quartet groups often played at weddings and Trio Capriccio didn’t disappoint. Such a beautiful sound to walk down the aisle to. The group were also beyond accommodating when we brought our wedding forward with 4 days notice due to covid restrictions and didn’t complain when I sent over a list of preferred songs just the afternoon before! They were clearly already well rehearsed and couldn’t have been more accommodating! They have a huge repertoire so were able to cater for traditional wedding songs, hymns and pop songs which made the whole service really individual to us. Thank you so much! We wish we could do it all again."
