"We hired Rachel to perform at a country themed hen party and she was fab. Everyone enjoyed singing and learning to line dance, Rachel even got the bride up to sing a duet. Rachel is very talented and was super easy to book, with clear information provided beforehand. Will definitely be booking Rachel for the next country themed party that we have! "

"Played at our wedding in Somerset at the end of October and we cannot recommend them highly enough! They got everyone up on their feet and all our guests enjoyed dancing, clapping and tapping along! A very talented group of musicians and a must see! Thank you all so much x"

"It was an absolute pleasure working with the Flux Ensemble from start to finish. We hired the String Duo for our outdoor wedding ceremony, which Martin accommodated by bringing a PA system to ensure it was amplified. He clearly worked hard catering the music to my tastes, and our personalities, rather than pushing his own ideas. The result was a sublime, tranquil ambience for the ceremony, which brought a tear to my eyes and those of many guests. It was an unforgettable ceremony. Highly recommend these guys- Thanks!!"

"Eccentric Pony played at our wedding in May, and they were amazing!!!! We honestly loved having them and all our guests were raving about them. From the moment we booked them, Jimmy was always contactable and made the process very easy, he contacted the venue directly to ensure everything was okay- which meant we did not have to! "We want to say a massive thank you to Nora for her help in organising the set schedule and to both Josh and Hannah for performing such lovely sets on our wedding day. We appreciate it was very hot inside which at times meant guests gravitated outside, but Josh and Hannah continued to keep the party going inside regardless. Hannah's performance was amazing as she would branch out in to the middle of the floor which got guests more involved and that was exactly what the party needed. Also we received your kind wedding card and want to say a big thank you for being thoughtful and making our wedding day so special. "We were looking for a Cello and Violin player to join us on our latest EP recording and were very fortunate to have Shimmer Strings join us. They were very professional, reliable and friendly. As a dark rock band we needed musicians who could appreciate our style of music and that could recognise, interpret and enhance the atmospheric string elements that we required, which they both did exceptionally. We are all so happy with how the tracks sound, the strings have taken it to another level and captured the emotional content so well. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a committed and hardworking duo and we look forward to working with Rebecca and Julianne again in the near future!"
