Review Centre: Acoustic Bands

"We recently hired Alfie's Hot Hats to play at our wedding reception which was held in a small beach café in Dorset. We were keen to have live, acoustic music that would fit the venue and the create an intimate party atmosphere . Alfie judged the day perfectly with low key chilling music through the afternoon whilst people ate and enjoyed the scenery and then switched to something livelier later in the evening when people wanted to dance. I had lots of comments from guests about how good they were and it seems one of the guests is keen to hire them for his own party later this year. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for exceptional performers to play at their wedding. "

"The BV's played for us at our wedding. Their set was the perfect mix of classics and more recent hits; guaranteed to get everyone on the dance floor. Carol and the band expertly arranged our first dance request, Michael Buble's rendition of 'You gotta friend in me'. They made the night truly memorable!"

"Gloria and Patrick were absolutely amazing at our weekly live music night. I had heard great things online, but nothing prepared us for just how great they actually are! Gloria's voice is incredible and Patrick's guitar skills meant the duo went down an absolute storm! They will definitely be a resident act at The Shurlock Inn AND at our sister pub The Plough from now on! 10 out of 10! "

"Ed and Oliviya played at my daughters wedding and did some lovely covers of some classic tracks. They bought a certain charm to the event in their performance and my only regret was that I didn’t get the opportunity to quietly sit and watch and listen to them. Excellent."

"The perfect gig on a perfect day. Chris and Brad were fantastic at our wedding last week. Lively as ever and kept all our guests on the dance floor for hours. They were accommodating and easy going but still very professional. So many guests commented on how brilliant the band were. Recommended by a friend and so pleased we looked them up. So many of our guests have remarked how much they loved it- from the 20 year olds to the 70 year olds, all loved it and joined in, which is exactly what we wanted.
