"Dear Anne, I thought the orchestra was great, especially the strings. Overall they sounded great and there have been many many positive comments!  It is is a really complex work and there were some wonderful moments. Your violin solo was wonderful and during that whole section the orchestra really captured the mood.  The Prelude was everything that I wanted it to be and the big moments were absolutely thrilling.  The orchestra was great to work with and sounded great. The sonority of Elgar's full orchestration was self-evident. The best range of dynamics I have experienced from them - ever! It is so good to welcome a lot of the same players back over and over again.  Please thank the players for me! "

"Modern Strings was a pleasure to work with for our big day. They were professional from the outset and had a huge choice of songs we could choose from. Anyone thinking of a string quartet or similar for their special day should look know further than these guys. They are brilliant. "

"Excellent communication prior to the wedding and helped us to choose our music. Very punctual on the day and they played our music so beautifully. Having the quintet added fantastic live music to the occasion. I would wholeheartedly recommend these musicians to anyone wanting live music. "

"Booking process via LMM was seamless and Sarah-Jane maintained regular contact throughout the process. Surrey Strings trio have a varied and extensive repertoire which enabled us to have our favourite pieces (both classical and popular music). The quality of musicianship was excellent. Their performance on the day was all we had hoped it would be and contributed hugely to the success of the day. We would have no hesitation in recommending both LMM and Surrey Strings"

"Our stretto duo (Dan on cello and Adrian on violin) we're utterly fantastic. I had made the booking for our pre-wedding drinks reception fairly last minute as I had a minor panic about a lack of "atmosphere", and I needn't have worried because the pair bought energy and a fantastic repertoire. Many of our guests commented on how great they were, and chastised me for not thanking them in my speech. So, THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

"Just want to say a huge thank you from both Taha and me. You truly made our wedding magical and gave it such an elegant touch. Everybody absolutely loved both the harp and violin during the Nikkah ceremony. I am so glad that we were able to have it outdoors and you made it a dream! Her attention to detail during the event actually helped us keep to schedule. For the best ever event you need great friends, venue, food and Sophie's Quartet. "
