"Adam played at our wedding last weekend and was absolutely fantastic. From the initial contact up until the day of the wedding, his communication was excellent, always replying quickly and taking into account any requests we made. The set-up on the day was really professional and had a great set list to go along with his brilliant voice. He even had the non-country fans singing along! Another note I'd like to mention is that midway through his set my 85-year-old grandad requested some Hank Williams (not on the setlist) so whilst on a break Adam went away and learned one just for my grandad; Touches like this made our day extra special. We can’t thank you enough Adam and will defo be seeing you in a country bar somewhere down the road!”"

"I just wanted to say such a huge thank you for the amazing performance that you gave. You were so friendly and willing to help in any way that any nervousness about getting up to dance was immediately dismissed. I was extremely apprehensive prior to the night about how the dancing would go down, especially with my two left feet! However my worrying was in vain, what a fantastic night of dancing it was, so inclusive that any and all can get up and get involved, aged 5 or 105. You need no experience or talent, just listen to the brilliant calling, it’s all simple moves but when it comes together with all your friends and family on the night, prepare to be amazed. I can not thank the band enough for making our Wedding such a fantastic night, I have never seen so many people thoroughly enjoying themselves all at once. I can sincerely recommend the Black Velvet Band for any social occasion, your expectations will be exceeded."

"We chose Jack from a selection of artists because we liked his repertoire of songs. Jack even said he would add more of our choice, which he did. He has a lovely chilled voice and style. Our guests loved him. Highly recommend. "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Hugo and Sophie’s Wedding – February 2026 Thank you so much for performing at Croydon Hall for our very special Valentine’s Day Wedding. As soon as the guests heard the band start playing the dance floor was full with very keen participants. All the guests had a fantastic time – the Father of the Groom said it was the perfect wedding entertainment. ! We will definitely be inviting you back!"

"Utterly fantastic - got everyone dancing from the start and created great atmosphere at my daughter and new son-in-law's wedding celebrations. Lots of guests praising their musicianship and asking where we found them! Accommodated all the couple's requests including learning a special request for for first dance which went down a storm. "Thank you Ken for your contribution to making our Party on Saturday so brilliant. You were absolutely the right choice to give our guests (all 110) an introduction to line dancing. You got the balance right and the fun came as a result. The two late afternoon 45 minute sessions were the right balance to get the guests ready and up and dancing to the Band in the evening. "Thanks once again for playing at our event. The band was brilliant and your voice was amazing. I particularly like the way you guys adapted each set to the needs of the event. Your sound engineer, Remko constantly adapted the set up and sound to make sure that it sounded great around the whole venue. Lighting and even a smoke machine (!) made the barn into a real western disco! ll in all it made for a fantastic night, Thanks you AMERICANA!!!!!"
