Review Centre: Acoustic Bands

"Apologies for the delay in posting our review. We got married on June 23rd 2022 at a beautiful country Manor House in the Cotswolds and had Stargazers play at our evening reception and they were fantastic! They absolutely smashed it, the room was full of energy and the choice of music was perfect. Not to mention the fact that they are all brilliant musicians. Also, I think they’re quite unique with Phoebe as the vocalist, really sets them apart. Also, we were really happy dealing with Rhona, their manager, through the process, she was very understanding and knew exactly what we wanted, which she helped deliver! Thank you so much for making our wedding night such a party! I would highly recommend! Best wishes!"

"We had a fabulous evening being entertained by Gypsy Cabaret Collective, a group which my gorgeous cousin is part of. Fraser showed his comedic side and Piper showed a bit of love for the poi. Piper also loved taking part in the proceedings. The boys listened to their CD all the way home and even asked for it to be turned up and asked when can we see them again."

"Hired Colette and Paul for our Thursday Steak and jazz nights as a duo with guitar. They were perfect - easy to deal with before the event, played a perfect balance of jazz and modern jazzy pop creating just the right ambience for our venue and both have a natural, friendly manner with both staff and customers. We had great feed back from customers, booked them again for a Christmas gig and will be booking them again in the New Year. Highly recommend!"

"Martin played at our wedding & was absolutely amazing. We met him by chance whilst he was playing a gig in a pub. We exchanged details & as promised, he got in touch the following day. From booking to performance, Martin was incredible. He has huge talent & got everyone dancing with his choice of songs ( we left that to him but he did offer the option of choosing our own) we were confident he wouldn't let us down. "I booked vocal works for my wedding to sing during the ceremony and also for our wedding breakfast. I can’t thank them enough and have had so many compliments from our guests about how amazing they sounded. Tim has been fantastic from start to finish and also agreed for the girls to learn a new song for us that we were desperate to have as our aisle song! You really filled the room with emotion and created the exact atmosphere we wanted. Thank you again, you guys are the best!!"

"Thank you so much for everything last week. I would not hesitate in recommending you to anyone. From organising things before (easy to communicate with, quick responses, accommodating) to the main event. We loved it, (which we knew we would) but it was wonderful to have so many guests remark how brilliant Phat 32 were. Overall it was a pleasure to have all the band there, which is important considering you guys were such a massive part of the evening. Then the performance - music and energy perfect for keeping wedding guests of all ages on the dance floor all night!"

"After seeing Helly and Andy AKA the Ragtag Misfits playing in Liverpool I just knew they would be a perfect accompaniment for our wedding in Wales. They were not a disappointment! We had a relaxed feel to our wedding and they helped set the tone perfectly playing a huge array of music that appealed to all age ranges, including bringing percussion instruments that allowed people to get involved. We opted for the Acoustic Pop Up theme and it was perfect as they popped up and played around the venue to wherever we needed them. We can only be really grateful to them both for making our day truly memorable"

"Kirsty is absolutely fantastic! As well as being a super easygoing, lovely person, she built a custom setlist based on our music choices, kindly created a special mix for our first dance, and even threw in some vinyl versions of special songs (yes, a vinyl DJ!), which was incredibly special. The lighting setup was also fantastic and exceeded all expectation, and the sound system was high quality and faultless. Kirsty brought so much passion and everyone had an amazing night (some even pleaded for more when it came to an end because they'd enjoyed the set so much...!) Kirsty was generous with her time ahead of the day, super accommodating of special requests, was lovely to work with and has buckets of talent. We can’t fault her or recommend her highly enough! "
