"We hired them to help celebrate my 50th birthday party. Great communication in the run up to the event, huge repertoire of songs to choose from. They even learnt a new song for my event. They were very engaging and the feedback from friends and family about them was very positive. Highly recommend and would definitely book them again."

"Planning a wedding is really complicated and there are so many hard decisions, so let’s make this an easy one - just book the Hot Hats! Alfie and the team are absolutely phenomenal, if you want a fun acoustic duo who’ll draw people to the floor or get spontaneous dancing at the bar, these really are your guys. Their choice of music was brilliant and had the full range to suit everyone, all played perfectly. I’ve seen a number of duos at weddings and whilst many are great musicians, many can be quite sterile, getting up, doing their thing and leaving - the Hot Hats most definite aren’t. They are super-friendly and the audience engagement is amazing, I spent as much time laughing along with them as I did dancing and they expertly wield that engagement to draw people into the party. Having perfectly read the room, they led us into the perfect night of entertainment! The engagement with Alfie beforehand was brilliant and he made the whole process really straightforward and the day itself also couldn’t have been easier - the Hot Hats turned up early, sorted everything with the venue and even stepped in when we forgot to announce we were cutting the cake! They handle everything musical, they come with some great kit and even run DJ sessions between their sets so you get the full musical package. So save yourself some party-planning time and just go for them - you really won’t regret it!"

"Ryan and Jenny played our festival wedding in July 2023. They stepped in at the last minute when a band we had booked previously cancelled. They were brilliant from the start. Jenny was responsive to all communication and immediately put us at ease. They took into account the type of music we said we liked and reflected this in our set list. They let us use their microphone for speeches during the interval. Can’t say enough good things about the Canny Sound. They really helped make our wedding and I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again."

"I organised for these guys to come and play at our wedding- it was a surprise for my husband and he loved them! They arrived in the black taxi and set up outside which was amazing for helping to set a relaxed atmosphere for the guests. Everyone said how amazing they sounded and I couldn't agreee more. John made all communication very easy and I am delighted I choose Love for Sale they were a brilliant addition to our wedding day. Loved by all guest and the bride and groom. Thanks again to you all. "Funk With Us played at our wedding this weekend and they were absolutely FANTASTIC! High energy, super helpful and just a pleasure to work with, we cannot recommend them highly enough! Lilac and Remko both spoke with us in advance to get to know us a little better and find out more about the type of music we were interested in. Lilac gave us a call in the lead up, was available via whatsapp and was just generally super helpful. On the night of our wedding the dance floor was always filled with everyone singing and dancing along and having a really great time! So, so, so pleased we booked Funk With Us, thanks for making our wedding evening so awesome! Thanks Lilac, Remko and the rest of the band! "
