"Rosie and Martin performed at our opening night in the gallery i co-run in Trowbridge, Wilts, they were everything we hoped for!, they really helped make the event feel special for us and our guests and didn't even complain when i asked then to move to different rooms 3 times during the evening! "

"Patrick and Tomo performed at our wedding in the Peak District on 21st March this year. I was quite apprehensive having an acoustic duo as I was worried that the guests wouldn't dance. However, Guest Talent were absolutely brilliant - their fun, energetic performance had all our guests glued to the dancefloor, with many of them commenting on how brilliant the band were! They were so accommodating when the timings of the buffet got delayed and they waited to start their second set slightly later than planned, no questions asked. They also performed a special song written by me for the groom which was fantastic! I would recommend Guest Talent without hesitation. Thanks for making our special day so much fun! "Wow! How wonderful are you two! We had an amazing day, topped off with an amazing evening and have received such positive feedback from our family and friends that we are absolutely basking in your glory!! Chatting to you, Jackie, on the phone long beforehand to explain who we are and what we hoped for was very important, and you were so easy to talk to. Your play list was great and the couple of items we rejected were taken out of the list without any issues. You opened with a song of our choice for our first dance, even though it was not on your playlist, and you graciously invited others on to the dance floor as the song progressed, in response to our request to steer the spotlight away from us. You listened to us and understood. You seemed to have people on the dance floor from the first song to the last. I don't think I've ever been to an event where that has happened. You had four and six year olds dancing and playing with the lights on the floor; you had friends who prefer a slow dance smooching to a number of songs; you had a large number of people following your "dance" moves; you had many people singing along; and we have received comments from the non dancers that your music wasn't too loud, so they could carry on conversations while others danced. And, amazingly (given that we had told you we were a bit stuck in the 70s) you had the teenagers up and dancing and having a really great time. We had a number of discerning musicians among our guests and without exception they thought you were a great band. You arrived to set up just as we were starting to eat yet there was no disruption. Thankyou for lending us your microphone for the speeches. You are a very talented couple and we are so pleased that you were able to entertain us and our wedding guests. Thankyou again. Judith"

"Top stuff, made our wedding. We saw the band at our friend's wedding and could not believe how good they were - we had to book them for our wedding too. Literally, every person at our wedding danced all night. So much love towards these guys. Easy to deal with and we still talk about it today. "

"I can't rate this band more highly, would recommend to anyone wanting a band for a wedding (or party). We recently had them play at our wedding and were so happy with the 2 sets; the music is incredible, lead vocals AMAZING and their covers are perfect! They did a mix of songs that we liked and also some others we requested including rnb, 90s covers, 00s covers and put their own spin on it - I'd even say some of the songs were better than the originals!! Also very flexible and made a real effort to do a version of our first dance that was both a slow and a fast song. We had all the guests asking where we found them and how to book them, as they were so good. Got everyone up on the dancefloor! Thank you again for playing at our wedding and for a fantastic job, so pleased we booked."

"Had two steel drum players, they were brilliant, created an amazing atmosphere at the high rocks in Tunbridge wells for my sisters wedding. The sun was shining it was fabulous and everyone commented on them. "My family and I had the pleasure of this lovely duo, at my cousin's (The Longfields) wedding, on a beautiful sunny day in Southport. The fantastic choices of songs and the interaction of The 'Misfits' with the guests (including the wonderful idea of instruments for the children), helped to make this one of my most treasured family days. I would recommend The Ragtag Misfits to anyone, who wants make their event a really nice place to be. Geoff"

"The band were absolutely 10/10. We hired ‘The Marvellous Motown Souls’ (10 piece) for our wedding. My goodness, this band are awesome! They were first class from start to finish. The communication from James when planning was outstanding. They learnt multiple additional songs at a request without additional charge. They even accommodated my terrible singing on stage for one song. Our venue commented on how polite and helpful the band were when they were setting up their equipment and instruments. The full and polished sound they produce is quite simply First Class. Our dance floor was packed from start to finish. So many of our guests have commented on how fantastic the band were. Guys you really made our wedding reception super special and we are so very grateful to you. If you are searching for a wedding band then you really can’t do any better than The Marvellous Motown Souls."

"The Marvellous Motown Souls played at the Overgate Hospice Garden Party and they were absolutely amazing. They are so friendly and accommodating and had people up dancing throughout the set. I also saw them perform at a friends wedding prior to this and I didn't leave the dance floor once! Great band!"
