Review Centre: Covers Bands

"I wasn't going to have a band for my birthday party but after seeing JP&tP play at a local event months before I changed my mind. In the lead up to the event they were fantastic and very flexible around set times, volume (it was a garden party in a residential street) and the booking was so easy and demand free. They even practiced a personal request for me. They made my party into the awesomeness it was! Everyone was dancing, the play list was fantastic, including "Blame it on me" and all my guests commented on what a fab band they were and a great night they'd had. There was even a lot of Jolly Polly jacket envy going on!! My only disappointment was they confessed to not actually being real pirates but did agree to keep that between us. Thank you Jolly Polly and the Pirates you were fantastic!!!!!"

"They exceeded our expectations and gave us such an amazing wedding party. The dance floor was always packed, and they did a great job engaging the crowd, changing song lyrics, adding extra touches. The communication was incredible throughout, so clear, quick & enthusiastic. Would highly recommend booking Eccentric Pony to anyone!"

"Thank you so much for your services on Saturday night at Dad’s party. It was lovely to meet you both at last and everyone enjoyed your music. Kenny and I particularly appreciated your assistance with the microphone during the evening as well. It’s little things like this that sometimes go unnoticed (but not by us). I know Dad had a wonderful time which was the main purpose. Your song choice was great and worked really well with the mixed audience."

"Just wanted to drop you a massive thank you for your huge part in making our reception so special last month! You smashed it - we absolutely partied our hearts out on the dancefloor and we know so many of our guests did too (one even told us it was one of the best nights of his life!) You created a brilliant atmosphere from the very first song. Special shout-outs for a) performing our first dance song even though it wasn't on your standard repertoire b) your own dance moves as you were setting down (they didn't go unnoticed!) and c) just being really friendly, down-to-earth guys in the lead-up and on the night itself. "We were thrilled to have booked The Verge for our anniversary party. We couldn’t have wished for anything better!…incredible talent, great fun, very professional and reliable from the first enquiry with them, and they totally blew us away!!! The dance floor was rocking !..they also did acoustic sets which we’d highly recommend as well. So many guests said they were the best ‘event’ band they’d ever heard and we agree! "Soul Messengers were the highlight of my wife's 40th party, they were amazing! Filippo is a superb guitarist and Azu's voice and performance is second to none! They complement each other so well and really made it a night to remember. Without a doubt, I wouldn't hesitate to book them again or strongly recommend them for a wedding or party.
