Review Centre: Duos / Small Groups

"After having had an awful 2022 Matt and I decided to throw a party, we had about 45 people in mind to invite but we wanted a band. I’m always put off by huge ones that you can never really hear the voices and your head and ears ache from the constant boom boom. Finding Alfie on a google search was exciting, they sounded exactly what we were looking for, for our intimate gathering. No problem at all to deal with prior to booking, which was simple and clear, we didn’t know at that time we were in for a treat, wow, the evening was absolutely superb. Alfie and Owens sound is brilliant, you can clearly hear the songs and the music, great vocals, no ear ache, just super super sounds coming from them. The choice of music suited our evening, and the requested songs to play were no problem. They integrated with our guests, some ‘hot’ to handle, and everyone had a fantastic evening, a massive thanks to you guys, it felt like we had friends with us, not a hired in band - and yes, we will see you again! (If you’ll come back that is!)"

"We booked Trio Capricco on a whim at a wedding show and it was the perfect decision for our relaxed but traditional wedding. They effortlessly blended in and played beautifully for our guests. Easy to communicate with and very professional. Our guests have all since commented what a wonderful choice of entertainment they were. Our daughter and little flower girls adored the odd version of a Disney song or two they threw in too. One guest even took a business card with them for future events. Simply fantastic."

"Rock Up played at our wedding party and were absolutely brilliant, everyone was dancing all night and they played great tunes. People were asking us who they were for a long time afterwards! Would highly recommend them."

"PROS: Lauren arrived early having learned two new songs and recorded one new backing track for us. She sings beautifully, performs with confidence and looks the part. She also has a very varied repertoire. Definitely one of those few singers that you should book and re-book. Worth an 11/10, but that is not allowed! . CONS: None. "

If your looking for the whole package then get these guys booked ASAP. I searched for weeks to find the perfect band and I could not have a found a better one. Thank you again from both Gaz and I. "The Bilberries have played at several of my Music Nights in Surrey and headlined at least one, always adding a folky twist to many a contemporary pop and rock tune, along with some traditional classics. Great blend of vocal harmonies. I only give them 8 out of 10 because I want to join them on mandolin!!!!! Great band, you won't be disappointed if you book them. I have just hired them again for another local event I am helping to run in June 2019. Highly recommended. "

"If you're looking for a band to get everyone up and dancing and having a great time, look no further - these guys are FANTASTIC! They have a huge repertoire - from the Beatles to the Killers - and the front man knows what's going to get a particular set of people on the dance floor. I've lost count of the number of people who've come up to me since the party to say what a great band. And on top of all that they were really nice, polite guys. I can't recommend Primed too much, if they're available book them!"
