"Kevin, Booke and the band were engaging, energetic and excellently executed every song performed. As a couple, our music taste is relatively contemporary and we felt through Funk Royale, we could have crowd pleasers to involve our family and friends, performed in wonderfully unique ways! They really delivered! We had so many positive comments about how unique the band was! To top it off, they created a musical medley for our first dance! Outstanding. "

"I can’t thank you enough. As soon as I heard you playing my aisle song, all my wedding nerves leading up to that moment went away. Being a wedding musician myself, I wanted to book someone for my wedding who I knew I could trust to get on with the job and for me to have no worries on the day about them as a supplier. Serenity String Duo was that perfect booking. If you haven’t heard them live then do go and find them at a wedding showcase/fair as their music just projects beautifully. They had great communication leading up to the big day. They were able to accommodate my aisle song request, and even took the time to tweak my arrangement (that I sent them) to make it more fluid for their instruments. I had quite a few musician guests at my wedding and they all were impressed with the range of repertoire that they covered during our ceremony and drinks reception. I can’t thank you enough. As soon as I heard you playing my aisle song, all my wedding nerves leading up to that moment went away. Highly recommend!"

"Thanks again for playing at our wedding. The music was perfect for giving the drinks reception that 'vintage' feel and definitely added a touch of class! "We were recommended Kirsty via Freddie, the pub manager at the Prince Albert. He gave us a few DJs to look at so we could decide for our wedding - Kirsty's communication is excellent. We corresponded via email and then found a time to talk on the phone. My then fiancée and now wife both warmed to Kirsty instantly over the phone. She is personable, with a really good understanding of music, she understands London culture, as well as the music I grew up with (and music would have enjoyed at university), and has an appreciation for the international music we requested. Her 'do not play' list was a great feature for us too, so we could make sure there were no toe-curling moments in the night or artists who we just didn't want played. She got on very well with our guests and made everyone feel at home - she has obviously spent time honing her craft as well as understanding how people tick. Many thanks, Kirsty- someone we would not hesitate to recommend to friends and anybody who asks"

"Appearing at my pub, THE CARPENTERS, London E2 tonight, MAYHEM was a surprisingly good act, playing with a verve and dynamism unusual in a mere pub covers band. Outstanding harmony vocals, and a quite brilliant keyboard player, who, I discovered afterwards, had been described by none other than David Bowie as “a genius”, appearing on a Sky TV documentary called “Trailblazers” in recent years, touted as the pioneer of a whole music era. Hearing him play ‘live’, I wouldn’t doubt it. And his sidekick, Carol, was no slouch herself, outstanding and distinctive vocals throughout. Will be out of our price league soon, I would say. "

"This band is truly outstanding. Lead vocalist, Leanne, is excellent and she is cohesively supported by an excellent group of highly accomplished musicians. The playlist was perfect for our party and many of the songs are still echoing in our heads. Having said that, the audio mix was perfect and the music volume was spot on, at an appropriate energy level with room for communication on the dance floor. Every guest claimed that this was the best band they had ever experienced. We hope to have them back in Warwickshire soon!"

"Thank you so much for everything last week. I would not hesitate in recommending you to anyone. From organising things before (easy to communicate with, quick responses, accommodating) to the main event. We loved it, (which we knew we would) but it was wonderful to have so many guests remark how brilliant Phat 32 were. Overall it was a pleasure to have all the band there, which is important considering you guys were such a massive part of the evening. Then the performance - music and energy perfect for keeping wedding guests of all ages on the dance floor all night!"

"Tim played for a birthday party in our garden a couple of weeks ago. We really liked his playing and his choice of music was ideal for the event. He chose songs that were just right for a Summer evening! Several people commented on how much they enjoyed his performance!"
