"These guys were absolutely fantastic. They were organised, helpful, provided their own AV equipment, and were very flexible amongst many changing plans And the music was phenomenal. They were so good at reading the room and the tone of each part of the event. They had everyone up dancing! Amazing, definitely my swing/jazz band of choice for any future events."

"For our wedding on 22nd April 2018 we had the absolute pleasure of having Blackbeard's Tea Party as our ceilidh band. They are an amazing band and had everyone up dancing throughout the ceilidh. If your planning on a ceilidh for your wedding then look no further they were professional throughout and we couldn't have asked for anything more!"

"Huw was absolutely excellent – courteous, listened carefully we what we wanted, then provided fantastic musical accompaniment to a big birthday bash……….. Huw’s guitar playing is superb, his voice perfectly pitched and mellow, and overall we would recommend Huw thoroughly – top bloke! "

I’m sorry about the slight delay to starting (I promise that wasn’t all our fault - there were a few delays from the venue side ?), but we were just so grateful for the incredible atmosphere you and the band gave to the evening reception. "Edina really helped to make the lunch party we were holding for my husband's 70th birthday a tremendous success. We have had so much lovely feedback about her performance from the thank you cards and letters we have received. She was asked to play an encore which she happily did. Her music just made us want to dance! Many many thanks Edina and we would happily recommend her to anyone who wants Spanish guitar."

"LA Mixtrax is THE band to see! Fantastic bunch of highly talented musicians with a large repertoire of songs spanning all the decades! We rocked out and danced the night away from start to finish - only warning is my feet still hurt! Excellent value for money for a four piece band and very quick to respond to messages and queries we had. You won't be disappointed and everyone who came to our party said the band was awesome! If you're looking for a band look no further, the only question you need to ask yourself is: “why aren't I booking LA Mixtrax?!” "
