"We wanted to say a huge thank you to you for your beautiful music. It was exactly what we hoped for and we are so happy you were able to play for us, especially in the heat! We have had lots of comments from guests to say how much they enjoyed it. We only wish we could have sat there and listened instead of going off here there and everywhere! "

"Billy played as a surprise for my Scottish Dad’s 80th birthday. We had a small surprise party and Billy worked with me in advance to decide the timings and what to play and it was just amazing. The range of music and quality of delivery is simply excellent. Beyond that Billy’s love of playing and of people made the day. Billy stayed with us after his main set, chatting with us and firing up the pipes again a number of times. He made every single guest feel special and everyone, especially, my Dad still talk often and with great fondness about Billy and how he made a special day unforgettable. When I came to this website looking for a piper I could never have imagined how special our piper would be. Thank you Billy and Anita."

"Great event. We loved the music and Rory was completely professional and helpful right from the initial planning to the performance. We loved that he could play both sax and flute, that was very nice contrast. Our guests loved the performance and enjoyed the ambience. Many thanks from our guests and Team."

"Joe was absolutely amazing! If you are thinking of having a saxophonist at your wedding, definitely do it - and definitely book Joe! We had so many guests come up to us to say how fantastic he was - from creating a beautiful atmosphere at the ceremony to being such good fun at the party in the evening! Couldn’t recommend him more! "We booked Eccentric Pony for our wedding and nothing was too much trouble, the atmosphere was electric, the dance floor was full all night and the band were amazing. From learning our first dance song to getting every person in the room dancing. Everyone commented on how great they were! Lisa & Andy"

"Rating 5/6 : Very Enjoyable Absolute Mayhem The Horse & Chains, Bushey on Saturday 30 September 2023 It's a rare thing to go into a local pub and hear a keyboard player who has been described as a musical "genius" by none other than David Bowie. This is no tall story either. The musician Billy Ritchie was the first player in rock music to give keyboards a prominent role -- and that was before Keith Emerson (ELP) and Rick Wakeman came on the scene. Billy told me that he remained good friends with the Thin White Duke until his death in 2016. Lanark-born Mr Ritchie now provides the skilful and fancy keyboards and records backing tracks for his latest incarnation Mayhem with talented female singer Carol Leslie. Carol is a really strong vocalist with a gutsy style. This dynamic duo started their first set at the cosy Sebright Arms with Elvis's late sixties' classic Suspicious Minds. The second song was a surprise -- Kirsty MacColl's comedy number There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears His Elvis. It was a perfect choice after the first song. Carol and Billy select their material wisely and give their audience something very different from the predictable Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl and I Saw Her Standing There, churned out by so many pub bands. So it was great to hear Georgio Moroder and Phil Oakey's electro smash Together In Electric Dreams, Matchbox's catchy rocker Rockabilly Rebel, Starship's uplifting We Built This City (on which Billy demonstrated his keyboard dexterity) and Solomon Burke's gospel-ish Cry To Me. And that was just the first half. Carol is happy to tackle songs usually associated with male vocalists and she started part two with a raucous version of Bryan Adams' rocker Summer Of 69. If you have never seen Mayhem, ask Billy to perform Light My Fire, the Doors rock classic from 1967. This was a sheer musical masterclass as he re-created both vocally and instrumentally this great song. Billy has a rich, tuneful voice and this was a stunning performance. Other highlights in the second half included Journey's rock anthem Don't Stop Believing, Carol's gritty interpretation if Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like A Woman and a fine performance of Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer A total of 24 songs and I cannot wait to see this duo again. My only concern is their name. I think many club and pubgoers might think Mayhem are a heavy metal band rather than an all-round, top class duo. "Anne Marie was lovely and really accommodating for our requirements. She was a little apprehensive that her repertoire we had requested was not suitable for the audience. I was convinced that her concerns weren't necessary and when she began I knew I was right. She was also concerned her vocals were not as strong as they could have been because of a previous temporary condition. But again she was excellent. She was just what we thought we wanted and didn't disappoint."

"First of all I would just like to say a massive thank you from myself and my wife Jorjia for accommodating us at short notice for our wedding at which you recently performed. Not only did you have to arrange new sets due to the 1920s theme of our wedding with a week’s notice but you also had the pressure of performing in front of the television crew knowing that it would be aired in front of 1.8 million people on the popular BBC television show ‘Don't Tell the Bride. Honestly you were unbelievable and there were endless comments throughout the evening on the beautiful singing voice of Carly- the lead singer who took the whole evening in her stride and embraced the stage like the true professional she is. Unbelievably talented and seamless throughout. Professionalism and showmanship! We will be forever in your debt and will not hesitate to recommend you to everyone and anyone. From the bottom of our hearts… Thank you! "

"We had a fantastic evening in our village hall. Melody sang the first set of war songs, with lots of us joining in the singing. For the second set we had asked Melody to sing vintage pop - absolutely brilliant! She was in character for both eras, and we had fun dancing. Melody was easy to communicate with, very professional and such a beautiful voice. We will definitely be asking her to come back! "

"It’s easy to see why Tony and the band receive such excellent reviews. Linda and I had a fabulous evening with top drawer Rock ‘n’ Roll taking us back to the great times we had all those years ago. Our family, friends and neighbours all commented how much of a good time they had, and that includes people too young to remember the music first hand! The band were all extremely friendly and approachable. I cannot recommend the East Coast Rockers highly enough and look forward to seeing them again. Thanks fellas!"

"They recently played at our customer event in Shelsley Walsh and were a great new addition to the event. Playing over the lunchtime period, they provided entertainment to our customers who gave nothing but excellent feedback on their performance. We are really looking forward to seeing them at our next event in August. I would definitely recommend them and will look to use them for any future events. They are quite simply great and amazing. Would highly recommend if you want to have a good night and get the party started."
