"Rob and I (and a vast majority of our guests) thought that 21st Century Riot were by far the best wedding band we'd ever heard. They had everyone up on the dance floor from the moment they started playing, including both sets of parents and my 80+ yr old uncle. The playlist was incredible and the guys were a lot of fun. They were also extremely slick in their set up and made everything run so smoothly. Thank you so much for making our wedding memorable and complete. Hope to hear them again in the future"

"The performance was spectacular and very authentic. We had built a custom 70s disco venue and this act was perfect to provide the uplifting atmosphere we wanted. Usually we never repeat themes or artists. But they were so good I am already trying to figure out how to incorporate them into future events. Thank you again Ben line Activity lead, anica care trust"

"We booked Funk it Up! for our wedding this summer & can not tell you how blown away we were by them. They were ALL absolute stars & Funk it Up! was easily the best part of our day - they brought 100% party vibes! They were an incredibly tight band; every member was an excellent musician & having been a bit of a fusspot about music building up to the day, I could not have been more chuffed. The dance floor was always packed out & the setlist did not let up! I lost count of the number of people who said to us afterwards how brilliant Funk it Up! had been, with the singer Ginger getting top marks from everybody for her showmanship and 10/10 bringing of the party throughout the set! If you want a proper old-school 70s/80s funk and soul band for your wedding or function, without the modern cliched Bruno Mars / Uptown Funk type stuff, then Funk it Up! is the band for you! Ginger was super helpful and communicative in the lead-up - she was able to add a trumpet player to the band's lineup to fill out the sound for us on the night & even kindly offered us the use of the band's PA for an hour at the end of the night after they'd finished playing. Do yourself a favour and book Funk it Up! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and you will NOT regret it."

"We chose Chapel Hill Duo to play through our ceremony and drinks reception. The communication from booking (over 18 months in advance) to the day was great and put us at ease. We were given a large song list to select from ourselves and were spoilt for choice! The was a great mix of old classics and modern chart music- and everything in between! On the day Chapel Hill thoroughly entertained our guests and were widely complemented. We were worried that with 100 guests the music would be 'lost' in the background but actually it was what gave our wedding afternoon such a warm, welcoming and happy atmosphere. Thank you so much, our day wouldn't have been the same without you!"

"Saw this new band at Iconic Wheatsheaf. Absolutely brilliant. Had our feet tapping to the Rock n Roll music all night, and new all the old songs from the sixties. We had a great evening. Will keep an eye out for when they are playing again. Great vocals and instrumentals. They looked like they had a good following of people who were dancing all night!"

"The Mia Mammas were a perfect addition to Floating Festivals Stages Charter in October 2019.  They took the roof of the venue, dancing in the aisles and requests for a second performance.  A lively, up-beat show was warmly received by everyone that attended.  This is a stunning show, not just another Abba Tribute.  "

"Careful thought was taken in finding the right band and genre of music that would compliment our formal charity dinner held at Britannia Royal Naval College in October 2013. The band provided a superb tailored set of soft jazz and virtuoso performances which delighted the guests. The band delivered. A rich performance, utilising the natural acoustic qualities of the quarterdeck for the reception was followed, after dinner, with a cosy intimate set in the Senior Gunroom bar. The band delivered. They were simply outstanding, producing exactly what was required to make this special event so memorable. I can not recommend them highly enough!"
