"From the moment we first contacted The Spectrum to play at our wedding, I knew I’d found a real gem. James has been so helpful and friendly throughout, including two date changes due to covid. A large percentage of our guests have since told us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to and I think a lot of that is due to the Spectrum - from setting up outside, nailing the first dance track to learning a new mashup for the day; they were the perfect mix of professional and fun. Also, props to the DJ who dealt well with the squawking women asking for more Spanglish tracks ? Thank you all so much - wish we could do the day over every weekend! It really was the best day ever! ? Love Ben & Ellen x "

"When you start planning your wedding, there are lots of factors that you need to take into account, however for me, the music was everything. I called The Covered Band, and spoke to John. From the moment we started talking about my ideas, i immediately felt at ease. We wanted a Country and Western wedding, and this may not be an easy request for some bands, For John, he seemed even more excited than me, that's when i realised, i needed this band, to perform on our day. The enthusiasm and professionalism all the band provided,was the highlight of the day, not to mention the encouragement before hand. I had requested a few of our favourite songs, even the request to use my father's guitar for some songs, as these were really important for us. John always replied, sure, and i honestly couldn't of been happier to know that he was onboard, and was prepared to make sure our wedding would be remembered in years to come. Imagine, being on the dance floor, with all your friends and family, smiles on everyone's faces, whilst dancing like their having the time of their lives. I stood back, for a slight second, to admire that moment. It was truly spectacular!! If you are considering having a band, for your wedding, this is most definitely, the band you need to book. I just wish I could do it all over again and couldn't recommend them highly enough."

"Hey ! These guys are really worth checking out.I was persuaded to join a group of friends who were going to see them play in Weston Super Mare and it was a brilliant evening, a fantastic party atmosphere with one super disco sound followed by another. "Good Times" indeed.Excellent musicians all of them and they nail every song they perform.See them, dig them,book them. Yowsah Yowsah Yowsah !!"

"The Blue Suede Shoes made my 30th birthday. The lads were great, playing laid back tunes together with a bit of banter over the microphone. The set list catered to everyone, and they were flexible in taking a few ad hoc requests on the night. The organisation before hand was timely and delivered exactly as promised – I would definitely recommend The Blue Suede Shoes to anyone, and am currently looking for a reason for another party to get them over again."

"Well what a 40th.....!! Kitty Galactic were as awesome as ever and I can't thank the band enough for the ace way I started my 40th year! Everyone who attended was 'singing' the praises of how good 'Kitty Galactic' were. In fact, Matt the Landlord of the Globe Pub in Lympstone suggested they were, I quote, 'the best band he had ever had in his pub'.... I think he also mentioned to me that this party now holds record takings, beating new years eve, so I can only imagine the music added to that recording breaking feat! I highly recommend these guys for any party, wedding or celebration! Thanks Kitty Galactic.... you were great! "

"Just wanted to say an absolutely massive thank you to you, the band and the DJ for yesterday. You guys all nailed it! I want to just re-live the night again to hear you guys. You really were fantastic and every time we see you I'm sure you all just get better and better! Still can't believe how many people you got up dancing between starters and mains, no one wanted to eat! Haha. I've heard only good things already about you guys and especially how you catered for everyones different genres and generations! " Testimonials for the Hat Hats acoustic wedding duo by Ellie Holton We got married at Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury, and we only had a small reception an intimate wedding of about 34. The Hot Hats were fabulous – they played all our kinds of music (and were very flexible too), and created such a brilliant atmosphere. They got everyone dancing and singing, including my dad and friend on the mic to their own version of Waterloo Sunset! They even took some requests on the night. I would hire these wedding musicians again for any kind of event, big or small. "
