"This is my first day back after an extended Christmas and New Year break so I am very much in catch up mode. The PJH Christmas Party seems a long time ago but my Staff are still talking about it – a great time was had by all. My Staff and guests were absolutely delighted with the surprise appearance of yourself and Russell – a great surprise. The singing was superb with a very moving finale. Well done. I’m sure you’ll have a busy 2017 and I wish you all the best."

"What a great party! The Cheers band were just amazing and there was never a time when the dance floor was not buzzing. Special tribute to your lead vocalist as they were just amazing, but also to the whole band for a just exceptional performance. We hope they enjoyed playing for us as much as we loved having them perform for us. And thank you for very professional and efficient organisation of the evening which ran like clockwork."

"We recently booked The Ace Jazz Band for our wedding at the end of June. Needless to say, they were absolutely amazing. We had them set up on the lawn of our venue as a surprise for our guest (we hadn’t told anyone about them) and the guys were extremely accommodating in doing this. We asked them to arrive at a different entrance to the venue so our guests wouldn’t see them, which they were absolutely fine with doing so. Their performance on the day was first class and all of our guests loved them - and are still talking about them to this day! All the guys are extremely friendly and were a pleasure to speak to, before and on the day. Couldn’t recommend them enough!!"

"Thank you for performing at my 50th Birthday Party on Saturday. With all events - we were a little worried - but clearly had no need to be. All went smoothly and you were an excellent addition to our celebrations. You both really made the night - and a large number of people commented on how good you were...you were fantastic! "Loved having them churn out the reels at a private party. (13th September 2025 Saturday Chesterton Road, Cambridge CB4) Couldn’t have been happier with our choice. I think they read the audience well and our (in) capabilities at following instruction, which meant that we did enough right to keep the dances going and cause enough confusion for fun and hilarity to shine through. " I was lucky enough to hire Lauren during an annual fundraiser I organized for a nonprofit organization I work for. Lauren was absolutely amazing in every aspect. It was very easy to communicate with her prior to the event. Any request I had for her- she made it happen. She's a very talented and beautiful vocalist, as well as a professional and hard-working lady. All the feedback I got from all the guests was extremely positive as well. I will absolutely hire her again for any future events I'm going to plan."

"After a long search for a Jazz & Swing band for my partner's 50th, I contacted What's New. They were in contact with me immediately and we quickly and easily made the booking. Sam was great with communication and we were able to discuss repertoire etc. They were the perfect band for a birthday party and immensely talented at what they do. If you're looking for an effortlessly cool, contemporary jazz and swing band to entertain and perform beautiful arrangements, this is the band for you."
