"I hired Matthew for my 50th birthday party and am so pleased that I did - he was exactly what I was looking for! I selected him on the basis of the quality that I saw on the website, and felt that he was even better in person. Being somewhat fussy, I was apprehensive about finding someone who could meet my needs, but Matthew suggested that we had a meeting before my event and we chatted through my ideas and preferences - as well as the things that I did not want! I came away feeling that he understood me and that we had connected, which was incredibly reassuring, and I was not let down on the night. Matthew is an incredibly talented singer and guitarist - recreating songs in a way that not only reflects the original, but often putting his own twist onto them in a way that keeps them fresh and interesting. His use of the loop pedal was particularly impressive! It was of note that so many of my guests commented on how good he was - they had a great time and really got into the swing of things as he gradually turned up the tempo and got everyone dancing. In doing so, he took requests, interacted with the crowd, showed a good sense of humour and came across and a fun, friendly and approachable guy. He played a wide range of songs, all of which reflected our discussion beforehand, with a great balance between those you might expect at a party and some 'surprises' that may be less common but worked equally well - if not better! I would definitely hire Matthew again, and would recommend him to pretty much anyone: he has a list of nearly 500 songs to choose from, and has a strict policy of not having a 'usual' setlist - instead preferring to engage in a discussion of what you'd like, so would be able to cater for all tastes - even mine! "We booked The Blue Suede Shoes as a duo for an early evening slot in our festival style wedding & they didn't disappoint. Ben was very good to deal with from the outset & made us very comfortable in the choice we made. The double bass is superb and the lead singers voice is exceptional - many of the guests commented to me about it. Next time I'll have to see the full band line up! "WOW! Just wow! Rebecca is absolutely fantastic and we couldn't recommend her enough. Not only is she a an incredible singer she is also the loveliest lady and the whole booking process was made a breeze. Rebecca was more than happy to accommodate our special request for a 50's vintage/ post modern jukebox style at our wedding and she certainly pulled it off. We could not be happier with her performance, all day our guests came up to us to tell us how much they loved the singer and what an amazing voice she had. If you are in the process of looking for a singer for your big day then stop here and don't hesitate to get in touch with Rebecca, you honestly will not be disappointed!!"

"Ruth was excellent, beyond excellent. Sublime performance as she knew exactly how to set the mood and then build upon that. 90% of my guests made a point of coming up to me and commenting on her voice and appearance. I wanted to make sure that WE did her justice by dancing and appreciating her performance. I know several wanted to book her for their own functions later this year and some next so expect some calls or emails. Ruth went out of her way to move her start time as our meal took longer than expected and we didn't want to eat during her wonder performance. She was super flexible and a big thank you for that Ruth."

"We booked Tim for our Daughters Wedding Day in August 2013 as a surprise for the happy couple. They were delighted with the addition to the plans that had been long standing, they were amazed at the quality of performance and sound. Tim did his research as to what the Bride and Groom liked/wanted and wowed the congregation before, during and after the ceremony. Tim is also a really nice guy so you’ll have the help with suggestions for songs if you need it, along with years of experience. Tim would be a sensational addition to your wedding day or any other reason you have to celebrate. Mr & Mrs Benson. Torquay "
