"Just realized that with all the end of term chaos I hadn't said thank you for getting our picnic up and dancing!! Thanks also for saving the day by arriving early at short notice when Britain's summer threw the best at us (and then some!!) and for being so flexible when things were so up in the air on arrival...definitely all the right decisions were made and everyone had a ball. We've had loads of great comments and I hope you were pleased with how many people joined in at such an early hour."

"I've had the tremendous good fortune to have been asked to call ceilidh dances with Kellys on numerous occasions. It's never difficult to get people up on the dance floor once Helen kicks off on the accordion, and when Steve's driving rhythm guitar comes in, coupled with Tony's pounding bodhran, the only 'problem' is getting people to sit down and have a breather between dances! And when you get Simon and John bumping it up to a 5-piece with fiddle and banjo (plus various pipes and whistles) well, all I can say is "Hold on to your socks!""

"Dave and Rich were a brilliant addition to our wedding, playing their great folky versions of classic songs during the drinks reception between our ceremony and dinner. They hit just the right note of excellent quality and vibes but without being overly showy or intrusive. It was just what we wanted. They were also just a great couple of guys, super flexible with timings, and kind enough to rescue our ceremony by lending a microphone, mere minutes before it started. Highly recommend them!"

"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening. "The Oysland band and dance caller was an absolutely brilliant opening to our wedding party. They got nearly everyone on their feet twirling round the room and everyone else clapping and stamping their feet. It really helped build a feeling of community and warmth that lasted the whole night. I would highly recommend Oysland they were easy to work with, accommodating, reliable and great fun to have around. If you want accessible Klezmer with a modern twist Oysland are for you!"
