"What a ceilidh and what a band! By far the best ceilidh we have ever experienced. Over half of the guests had never been to a ceilidh before, but the walk-throughs were incredibly clear and ensured that everyone picked up the steps really quickly. The band managed to get so many guests up and dancing that we had to expand the size of our dance-floor, twice! The ceilidh was the highlight of the evening. We received a large number of compliments from the guests about the quality of the music. We would thoroughly recommend It's No' Reel to anyone!"

"We had a joint 50th & 80th birthday party. Black Velvet were fantastic. Great musicians and made the Barn dance run smoothly. We had ages from 5 to 80 and they tailored everything perfectly. Made it a birthday to remember."

"Thank you Ken for your contribution to making our Party on Saturday so brilliant. You were absolutely the right choice to give our guests (all 110) an introduction to line dancing. You got the balance right and the fun came as a result. The two late afternoon 45 minute sessions were the right balance to get the guests ready and up and dancing to the Band in the evening. "After spending weeks looking for a wedding band who could play more than the standard fare, we were intrigued on seeing their repertoire; finally a band who could satisfy all the guests with a mixture of classy soul, RnB and pop. Once we listened to their demo we were sold; it was clear that Rebecca has the voice of an angel. However, this didn’t prepare us for the performance on the day, which exceeded all expectations. Love songs delivered with heartbreaking beauty and pop that had everyone off their seats until the last note of the evening. Rebecca and the Somerset Soul are a wedding band for the discerning listener who gave us the perfect end to a perfect day."

"These guys are brilliant! They had the everyone up and involved with the country dances! All of my guests said how much of a good time they had and have since tried the dances out! Such a fantastic variety of songs too. Thank you for making my 30th so great!"

"Michael was able to set up the recording sessions at very short notice, booking musicians, producing and arranging a world class mixing engineer. The album sounds great and has been getting radio play. Looking forward to making the next record with Michael and his team!"

"I hired Jack for my partners 50th birthday in a country pub local to us. I contacted Jack and he kept great communication through out. He also learned some songs which we wanted to be played on the night, which was great. Jack was brilliant on the night. He is very talented and created a great atmosphere. All of our friends and family were so impressed. We also all had a sing along with him at the end of the night which was amazing. Jack was perfect and really made the night. He went above and beyond what we expected. I would definitely hire him again. "

"James was really great, arrived early and quietly set up in plenty of time. All of the music was wonderful and he also made a few announcements through the speaker system about food etc. which was really helpful. Really couldn’t have been better! Thanks James!"
