"Lilac came and sang at my 40th birthday, in a barn in the rainy weather, she was fantastic, great voice and the sound was absolutely immense. Her and Remko were lovey to meet and camped with us to continue the celebrations. Really fantastic!"

"Thank you, guys, for finding time beforehand to rehearse with Amy, the bridegroom’s sister, who sang Elton John’s “Your Song” for the bride and groom’s 1st dance. It was beautiful and very special to have her sing their first song with accompaniment from the band. I think everyone was very moved by it (we are hoping someone filmed it but are not sure!). The dance floor was packed all evening for the ceilidh and we all had great fun - which was the intention. It was an amazing day, evening and whole weekend - we carried on the celebrations on Sunday! Thank you to Black Velvet Band for helping to make the wedding so memorable. "

"A big thanks to It's No' Reel for coming to play at our wedding in Norfolk - you were brilliant! Over half the guests were complete novices but thanks to your great calling and tunes you got all the guests involved and everyone loved it! So much for our concerns about people needing encouragement, we could have done with a much bigger dance floor! Tom was very easy to deal with on the run up to the day and flexible on the night. Your recommendation for Strip the Willow for our first dance was a brilliant idea and the spontaneous Auld Lang Syne was a thoughtful touch. The ceilidh was definitely a highlight of the day. We would highly recommend It's No' Reel for any wedding or party! "

"The band were excellent lots of my friends commented how much they enjoyed them. They were very flexible and played two additional sets that helped create an atmosphere that my friends did not want to leave. The band had everyone dancing from the first song to the last one four hours later."

"Brilliant band for my sons charity night in Northampton. I booked a 5 piece as I wanted a fiddle player, great musicians, Steve top singer, Luke the engineer was really kind and very helpful with a video link of Zac. "These guys provided such an awesome ceilidh at our wedding. We had a lot of in experienced and multinational guests and the caller did an incredible job of getting everyone involved and having fun. It was a real highlight of the night for us and we can't recommend these guys enough!"

"Rachel played at our wedding and was just wonderful! She played and sang beautifully and added just what we needed to the afternoon of our wedding. She also happily stayed on later than agreed, with no questions asked! I would happily recommend her to anyone who wanted lovely relaxed live music at their wedding. Thank you very much X X "

"Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Steve read our slightly disfunctional crowd well. The violinist was really good as well. The weather held (just), so we were also able the have the performance outside which was really good. Can totally recommend."

"Found Rachel on this web site and we are so glad we did. The performance at out wedding was fantastic and was more than worth the fee. Rachel entertained our guests before the ceremony when they arrived and then after the ceremony before the wedding breakfast. Our guests were so impressed and complimentary about the performance. It set a really good vibe to the start of our day and put everyone in a fun, party mood. The booking process was so easy and low maintenance. Rachel is a genuine nice person and very talented. Don't miss out ! "
