"We absolutely loved having Kirsty at our wedding. Her performance was fantastic, we had a band on before her and it was a tough act to follow - but she managed it tremendously. She was brilliant at quickly figuring out what got the wedding party dancing the night away and was always on top of where to take it next. Along with a great performance, her communication was absolutely superb before the event. She spent time going through what we wanted to get from the set, what our music tastes were, what we did want to be played (and did not!) and so much more. On the night Kirsty worked around lots of timings and was hugely flexible. Above all, she is a really nice person who we just felt throughout wanted to do all she could to help make our night even more special. Talented and highly recommended"

"Overdrive travelled to France to play at our wedding and we can’t recommend them enough! We loved them and so did our guests (we got lots of rave reviews). They really brought the fun and Nora’s vocals were insane. Lots of people were dancing which was exactly what we wanted. From booking to the wedding itself they were really friendly and responsive. On the day there was a hiccup with the sound equipment (not their fault) but they were super professional and didn’t let it affect the night or their performance at all. Thank you so much!"

"Great communication from making an enquiry to actually booking the event. Very fast at responding to messages and polite friendly and professional. We had Justin for a 30th birthday Party. Arrived early and introduced himself and asked about what sort of things we wanted which I thought was great. Had most people on the dance floor all evening and played some good games to get the night going and everyone appeared to have a good evening. Thank you! Would definitely recommend and use again."

"The setting for our August 2018 wedding was the beautiful Arnos Vale’s Woodland Undercroft. There was a “Gothic Lite” theme to this largely (we had a marquee!) outdoor event which we wanted to be as informal as possible. It was important to us that everybody who was attending or contributing to the event felt that they were able to participate in the occasion as guests. For this reason we wanted musicians who we felt would “fit in” the with guests as well as playing the type of music that we wanted . Having trawled through various websites we discovered the “Hot Hats” and, having played their version of “Friday I’m In Love”, knew that we didn’t need to look any further. The sound was great and the image of the band was just what we wanted. Having then seen the band play a couple of times, it was clear that the personalities and sound was just what we wanted. As there was no particular running order for our afternoon reception, our brief to the band was, basically, “play when you think you need to” and this worked a treat. In addition we were played down the aisle to the band playing “I’m A Believer” which was a really special moment for us. There was good communication at the point of booking which was a painless process and continued contact with Alfie and his agent made arranging the event so much easier. We loved the band and the guests loved them as well. We would therefore have no hesitation in recommending the “Hot Hats” for your event. Martin & Nikki P.S. If there was a downside to our afternoon it was that Alfie (despite his best efforts) was unable to teach the bride to properly strum a guitar but, in the overall scheme of things, we’ll let that pass!"

"Eccentric Pony played at our wedding this year in the Lake District. We had great communication from Jimmy prior to the wedding day and were pleased that we were able to choose the songs that we wanted them to play from their extensive song list. They play a wide variety of songs which was just want we wanted and we received numerous comments from our wedding guests about how good the band were! We loved having you play at our wedding! "Just a note to say thank you all for treating us to an evening of wonderful music and entertainment. It was just what we had hoped for and more, we could not have been more delighted. In essence the two brilliant sets of music it hit all the right notes catering for a very wide age-range. We had many enquiries after the event as to how we found the band so I have been very happily referring them. We have been to many events recently and none of the live bands have come anywhere close to your standard, so thanks so much for saying 'Yes' to our initial enquiry. When looking at bands on the internet, (I listened to what seemed to be hundreds), I drew up a short list, then listened to all the demo tracks and videos and put my top four in order of priority. This I then asked my husband to listen to (as it was his birthday), and his top four were pretty much the same with 21C being number 1 on both lists! My only concern, once we had decided, was that you might say 'No sorry we don't travel to Shropshire', so I was very relieved and happy when you said 'Yes'! Also, the fact that the band were early and happy to set up themselves meant no hassle for us on the night. The only downside is that it was over too quickly and I am trying to rack my brains to think of an excuse to do it all over again. Our youngest son does have a 21st to sort out, so you never know, you might be hearing from us again. Just by way of thanks for your help Helen, and to Jay and the boys for driving all the way to Shropshire to play for us, a separate gift is winging it's way to you."
