"Our wedding day on Valentine’s Day 14/02/2020 was just perfect! From the first time me and my husband heard the band we were taken back. The sound was something different and we knew that they would be good. From the time we booked and confirmed the band we were not disappointed. The communication is 5*! We couldn’t have wished for a better night! The band were amazing and everything that we wanted. From the emails to the telephone calls you can just sense the passion and happiness that they truly do enjoy their job. They are a fantastic group of guys. Everyone commented on how good the evening was and that was because of the music!! We thank you so much house or chords, we really did love you! We will definitely recommend. "

"Straight Up were beyond brilliant as the evening entertainment for our wedding. The dance floor was full the entire time and we had so many comments about how brilliant they were - their manager was great at communicating in the run up to the event and they were willing to tweak the set list so it was perfect for our friends and family! Would thoroughly recommend. "

"Modern Super Swing Band was the highlight of our Corporate summer event. Communication prior to the event was prompt and Sam took onboard all our suggestion in regards to music preferences. "This is probably the most belated thank you in history and you probably barely remember the event now, but I just wanted to say a huge thank you on behalf of Jane and myself for providing the incredible entertainment for our wedding back in August at the Dome. Everyone said how great the music was and how professional and tight you guys were and it really made the night for us. "Modern super swing band were the perfect band to play at our wedding. They were prompt, friendly, and professional, and best of all they looked like they were enjoying it as well! They were great at reading the mood of our guests and playing songs to suit the different times of day that they played for us. All our guests were up and dancing and loved the band. We’d definitely recommend them for any occasion as they helped to create a great atmosphere and the quality of the musicianship was extremely high."

"I recently booked House of Chords to play a gig at my wedding reception party at relatively short notice. The party was held on a Thames river boat cruise in London. I liaised directly with Mike from the outset, and was pleasantly greeted by an exceptionally professional service. Attentive to every detail, Mike addressed all of my concerns promptly ensuring total peace of mind. On the evening of the gig, House of Chords were ready and eager to please when all our guests arrived and delivered the goods musically. They are exceptionally talented musicians with a great, friendly demeanour. The evening was enjoyed immensely by everyone and I would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending House of Chords to anyone to play any gig large or small with minimum of fuss and maximum impact!"
