"What a night! We were playing guess the song. Ewan your musical director was lovely and they all seemed to enjoy the evening. I would hire them again in a flash! The entire process was hassle free. The guests were impressed by the duet. "

"After seeing The Shakesters play live for the first time we knew we had to book them for our pub’s New Years Eve event. We had put in a lot of work for our ticketed party and we needed an exceptional band to play. Luckily we were organised and booked early enough to seal The Shakesters for our event. They absolutely blew the roof off!!! Such professionalism from start to finish, amazing set list, incredible look and sound and without doubt the best event band we have ever booked! They had every single guest in the pub dancing all night and even played for extra time! The days following our event were flooded with amazing comments from our guests. The Shakesters were without doubt the key ingredient to the success of our event and we will be booking them again and again!"

"We booked the Shakesters to play at a joint 30th and 60th birthday party with a 1950′s and 1980′s theme, a wide age range to entertain! They were absolutely fantastic, got everyone dancing with some great interaction with the guests and making sure the birthday boy and birthday girl got shouts outs and were the centre of attention! They were really organised, making sure they knew what we were expecting from them in the planning stages, to setting up promptly and playing an epic set! Highlight of the night, a great group of guys and we could not recommend them enough for any function!"

"We would just like to express how impressed we were with They Got The Party. They were absolutely brilliant and the dance floor wasn't empty at Any point during the night. Their playlist was exactly what we were hoping For and it meant that the music catered for all generations. Many of our Guests commented on how good the band was. It was a bonus that they Sang our first dance and we were very grateful for that. We will always Keep the band in mind for future events and recommend to others. Keep Up the good work."

"Where do I start? Well I wanted a band for my 50th Birthday Party. A band that would suit all ages, as 8-86 year olds present, along with a fair few teenagers.....and get everyone up and dancing and having fun. I had only seen a few videos online and read the reviews, so it felt like a gamble. But it wasn't at all and I couldn't have asked for more! They were perfect! And everyone did enjoy it, including the teenagers and everyone else. I had so many compliments about the band and people asking where I had found them etc. I really couldn't have been happier - well apart from the fact it was my birthday and I had to speak to everyone, so really would have liked more time dancing and enjoying the band myself! Kris is very charismatic and all the band got involved in the fun. The crowd loved it when they came off stage and played in amongst them dancing and Kris's moves and costume changes etc. Kris was easy to deal with, all communications acknowledged and responded to. I got to write the set list too, plus they provided a play list between their sets. There was really nothing to fault. I would highly recommended this band for a fantastic, full of fun and dancing party! THANK YOU ALL! "

"House of Chords absolutely made our wedding day/night! They were incredible! Recommended to us by a friend who had heard them at another wedding - we are so glad they were brought to our attention! Not only on the day but in the run up to our wedding they were so great. We met with Mike and talked through our ideas/favourite music/us and they based their set around it. On the day they were great fun and completely professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I hope their ears are burning as everyone at our wedding has been raving out them!"

"I just wished to drop you a line to check you all got back ok on Saturday and to say a huge thank you, please thank all the band! Your set was absolutely amazing and everyone thought you were fab. One of the hotel staff said you were the best band they had heard in absolutely ages! We are gathering photos and will seek the videos from our friend Jack for you too and will be in touch. "Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one. "
