"Hi Rory, Thank you so much for coming to play at our wedding. It was the perfect accent to our cake eating and dancing to round off a fantastic day. Hannah's parents particularly enjoyed it, spending quite a bit of time on the dance floor! The band played with great enthusiasm, and the arrangements for the day could not have gone more smoothly. "What a fantastic night. The band jumped in on a weeks notice and put on a cracking show. They arrived early and were set up and ready to go before anyone arrived for the party. They read how the evening was going and allowed people to finish eating before starting. The set was fantastic and had everyone on their feet dancing. "Just back from honeymoon, had a wonderful time, thank you! I was going to write to you anyway as we would like you to pass on a huge THANK YOU to the band. The band were absolutely fantastic! They played our first dance perfectly and really got our party started and kept if going until midnight! They played all our favourite stuff and our guests loved them. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again and will recommend to anyone who asks. Hope I get to dance to their music again sometime soon! Huge thank you from us! "Stuart, thank you for a sterling evening on Saturday - everyone had a great time as was witnessed by the amount of dancing (despite the age of some of the participants.  Thank you very much for supporting us and doing the Address to the Haggis as well as the Selkirk Grace - it is very much appreciated (especially as you have such a passionate delivery of the words).  Thanks go to Jill as well as she is the perfect caller for a group like ours where many are novices and the rest of us forget the steps from one year to the next. "For our Irish/Scottish heritage event that we run in Oslo, we had GDTB Duo come & perform for our group. Everyone loved their selection of songs, some that we recognised + others that we didn't know. The event ran smoothly and everyone had a great time. We'll have them back again next year. Highly recommended!"

"Could not recommend this band enough. We had them at our wedding and absolutely everyone was full of praise for them long after the wedding. We set the song list together, they even learnt a new song or two for us and let my wife get up and do a song with them. Very competitively priced for the quality of the band. We were beyond happy with them.. book them!"

"Great time spent with Paddy James! His style of music seduced the whole audience, performing well-known songs but also songs from his own repertoire, in English and in French, engaging us to move and sing-along together. A real presence on the stage. We will definitely make use of his talent and services again! "
