"Just a short email to say many thanks for the music and dancing on Saturday at Childerley. I hope you could tell we all had a great time - were we any less competent than most people at the dancing?? As far as I know, only one person fell over, and we have to blame too much champagne for that. The whole event went fantastically well, and your part in it was much appreciated. Should the opportunity arise, we will book your group again, and recommend you if we know of anyone else having a “do” in your area. A lot of fun was had by both dancers and spectators. "

"No matter who we speak to that was at our wedding evening party, ALL of them say the band was amazing and we wholeheartedly agree! Possibly the best ceilidh band I've heard, topped off with really clear, friendly instruction (which can make or break this sort of thing)! Even those who aren't so inclined to dancing loved it so I can't think of a better way to get everyone involved and enjoying themselves. The guys were really helpful to deal with and the best priced as well so I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thank you very much for making the evening such a success chaps!"

"Dermot’s music was one of the highlights of our wedding day. Having moved our wedding from Ireland to the UK due to Covid, we really wanted to capture the emotion and essence of an Irish wedding, and the music and drinks reception were perfect! During our walk down the aisle there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Beforehand Dermot organised zoom rehearsal with my sister in law so she could sing alongside him confidently during the ceremony and I know she was extremely grateful. The impromptu singalong during the drinks reception was a highlight for so many of us (and staff at the venue!). Dermot was professional, courteous, flexible and my only regret was that we had to leave the drinks reception to for the wedding breakfast! We are so grateful to him and could not recommend him enough."

A class act right from my first enquiry - excellent communication regarding the type of music/vibe I was looking for, timings, price, the lot. "Thank you so much for playing such an incredible set at our wedding. Everyone was blown away by the Evelyn & The Band's amazingly tight performance and fantastic eclectic setlist. The band's energy was infectious and it was the hottest dance floor we’ve ever seen - no one wanted it to end! Evelyn, the lovely lead singer, was excellent at communicating ahead of the event, answering all our questions and was very accommodating for our music choices. She also did a fantastic DJ set after the live music, which kept the dance floor flowing! I can't recommend Evelyn & The Band enough - they really made our night."
