"This band is a class act. Joanne has an unique voice that if heard once, you will instantly recognise. She has a great range and sometimes sings in an operatic tone too. Her husband James is a great guitarist and singer too. They compliment each other and are fun to watch. You will not be disappointed."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing you perform on several occasions in the Alps, so I was beyond excited to have you at my 21st. My mates were shocked when you appeared and couldn’t believe it! One friend had spotted you in the boat beforehand - but was told he was nuts by others and forgot about it! Thanks for being such a great sport, hiding at the venue and playing along with the surprise reveal. As always, your set was incredible, and letting me play your guitar was a particularly memorable moment despite me being somewhat inebriated... It was the perfect end to an unforgettable night. Thank you so much!"

"Thank you both for bringing such a special part of our wedding to life. The live music was integral to our ceremony and Alice and her guitarist elevated the event. They brought in a special magic which extended to the reception afterwards. We really appreciated their professionalism and distinct style, both during our ceremony and afterwards in the celebration. They set the perfect tone for a lively and friendly atmosphere which is exactly what we were hoping for with our wedding. "We booked Unwritten Duo for the first time back in September at our pub in Nottingham. They turned up on time, set up without fuss and performed 3 incredible 45 minutes sets. They played music from the 50s to modern day and put their own style to it. I got some fantastic feedback from my punters and have had them back twice since the first booking. We have them booked in once a month for the next year. Absolutely love their sound and especially love Joanne's vocal ability, such rich tones and power. I highly recommend them for any event!"

"We booked lazy marmalade for our wedding in October this year and it was the best decision we could have made. They have such a wide range of music and sound much larger than a 2 piece it’s pretty unbelievable actually. The DJ music on the night was also great and seamless too. So we were able to enjoy our evening of music start to finish. They were even able to accommodate and play with one of our friends who is a singer which worked so well for our first dance. The guys are so nice and helpful with brilliant communication making us feel completely at ease throughout the whole process. We did not get off the dance floor for the whole evening and there was something for everyone. We wish we could do it all again and hope to hear them playing again soon. You helped to make our wedding a day to treasure for the rest of our lives so thank you Natalie and Karl x "

"Paddy stepped in and saved our wedding with a day-and-a-half notice after we were let down by another musician. So glad the other guy pulled out as Paddy's voice was far superior, he was wonderful with the little ones, friendly, helpful and so accommodating. Genuinely nice guy and a fabulous performer. Cannot recommend enough! "

"They were the perfect fit for our wedding. They gauged the mood of the crowd brilliantly and had everyone dancing away until the early hours. Alice was so friendly and clear with her comms in the lead-up to our big day meaning we were so relaxed having her singing at both the ceremony and reception. Couldn't recommend them any higher!"
